I was thinking the same thing. I was also thinking another year and maybe he doesnt come back at all hes not getting any younger. The shitty part is if we have a season next year and hes not as good as his 2019 run all the nay sayers will say "see he was on steroids and now its showing blah blah blah" I was really looking forward to seeing him play another full season this year and just dominate and show everyone they were wrong.

There isnt much to learn. There are 11 sapphires for the 11 grey cups. The diamonds just fill in the rest. The cool part is there is a unique inscription for everyone inside the ring that is different for each player. Thought that was a nice touch.

Exactly this. I've never once thought of it as derogatory or as a slur of any kind. It's a lot different then say the "N" word where you were taught it was a racial word and not to use it. I'm also not opposed to change. But change it if the Inuit want it changed and not as a political stunt or because someone who is non inuit and has nothing to do with the name is whining about it.

I think the only way around all of this is to just go back to calling every team their city/province/state name lol. Maybe in 2020. But when the majority of these teams were named it was a different time. I just dont see a point in changing something that's been around for 50+ years.

I've been on this planet just under 40 years and not once in my life have I found the words Chiefs, Indians, Eskimoes, Redskins etc racist. Not one bit. To me it's simply a word or a name of a team. I dont see what has changed. If you are calling somone that name to their face and using it as a racial slur, to me that's different.
