Looks like Simon might be an expensive bench warmer unless they 9 game him soon...I doubt with his injury that he starts for another month. They should save him for the scond half of the season.

I doubt we see a QB change until Labour Day barring an injury....

Yeah it's asking a lot but we typically play them well enough to beat them. I'd be happy with a split there as well.

Penalties are also killing the Eskies.

Riders look to be movin the ball well. However edmontons defence is baaad. I think they are making the riders look good. Edmontons o line looks a lot like ours did at the beginning of last year. Very inconsistent and lots of break downs. Still early but we look to have the strongest defence so far and a mediocre offence. Should be able to get two wins over bc, Edm, mon, and split the rest.

All teams have something they are good at doing. BC is good at grooming QBs, Hamilton is good at grooming Kick returners, Winnipeg is good at grooming RBs, Montreal is good at grooming offensive play books, Saskatchewan is good at grooming inbreds.....

He is leading tackles though......but had a bad pi call and then that.

Both teams with terrible defences. Hamilton looks like there offence is just as good however the defence on Toronto might be making them look better. If our defence keeps playing as well as they did last night or better then either of these teams put more than 25 points up against us. and what was Waters doing kicking the point after? That might have made a tweak into an injury and put him out a while!

I know it looked like they aren't ready but how much can you pin on play calling, rook receivers and online? Goltz was 13/22 for 110 with 2 picks (could be receivers fault) meanwhile Durant was 14/23 with a pick and a TD and he was playing with starters. I think everything is skewed by not having starters.Edit. Tate was also 9-21 with 107 yards and calvillo was 6-12 for 114 and a TD. To think Goltz even moved the ball is outstanding!
