I disagree with these kind of statements.... Mack brought in lots of good young guys on the D.... what about Washington, Sears, Wild, Turner, Gilmore and a few others? His greatest fault of course was the QB and O-line and O-Coordinators which killed us.... but to say he didn't bring in talent on D is a stretch. Mack brought some talent but was also blessed with some guys when he got here that were brought in by Taman and even Kelly. Not sure if it was his style or whatever but he couldn't or wouldn't sign or trade for a FA that could compliment and strengthen what he was trying to build here and that's what ultimately did him in. Ya we had no QB but that was his job and he couldn't get one. Our o-line got progressively worse as well and that's also on him. Anyway don't want to talk about him anymore. Good job Kyle. And Taman wasn't blessed with a lot of guys in Rider town? I don't get your point? Same goes with Walters he was blessed with guys like Turner as well??? I just find it funny that people love to dump on management and players as soon as they are out of town. Yes we are all glad Mack is gone and that Walters is bringing in new faces... but no need to exaggerate on Mack and say that he was completely useless and didn't do a single thing. I'm hoping Willy is the real deal but if not.... then what has Walters done to improve this horrible O so far?? He brought back Bellefeuille which isn't something to go crazy about, we lost some receivers and rbs and we still have not addressed our horrible o-line.

I can see BC and maybe Edmonton going for him..... BC would be the only one I think willing to get rid of a high pick (if they even have any)

Who cares if Willy is option C! At least this group had three options. The last two seasons of this team only having the option A of Pray Buck doesn't get hurt was brutal! Already Walters and O Shea have surpassed The last regime by having a clear direction of who they want to go with and the guy they choose is somebody without injury issues and who wasn't on the decline.

Lefors got hurt and was demanded a pay cut mid season, you don't think that soured the guy? Didn't Saskatchewan approach him the next season and he declined coming back to the cfl?

Well hopefully that's not the case and this is just a ploy to lower the asking price for Glenn or any other backup in the league. I'll be a little disappointed if the Bombers go into training camp without another QB that has a little CFL experience Hall had a lot of game time and isn't this year 4 for Goltz?

Willy has more talent in his little finger than LeFors ever had. Not true at all and it wasn't Lefors fault that Kelly ran a crap system.

I think it's mostly because he was under the radar and Collaros put up some great numbers in some games last year. Also the highlights showed Collaros scrambling around making plays on the fly which with our crap o line it might work. Willy isn't as flashy but from the little gameplay that I remember watching of him is that the guy is very calm and can handle a rush and release the ball quick. I'd like to rewatch more of his games to see how his arm is and his mobility.

Keeping it simple... We dumped Boltus and replaced him with Willy.... This is a massive upgrade. We lose Etienne... It's not impossible to think we can replace his whopping 19 receptions with someone else?

It's much better then last year when they gave Buck the keys and then dumped it on Goltz when Buck was hurt.

100% agree... I also am concerned of Hall's durability (it didn't help that he had zero protection) , he was hurt quite often last season.

Both Glenn and Willy would be solid pick ups. I also don't understand the red flag point? How else is he going to get a qb??

I think it's imperative that the team does sign a durable qb....
