Confirmed if we head into a slump we blame SpeedFlex27 for angering the gods with this comment!

2023/2024 Blue Bombers Off-Season Thread (BRADY’S BACK! DALTON’S BACK!)
I'd rather our depth guys be players needing experience and with a higher upside then keeping guys who are old and very average on the decline.

I as well am not a fan of the Riders, so make it two things for 2024!

2023/2024 CFL (Non Bombers) Off Season News
It happens on here every off season, a few members think that the Bombers have zero cap space meanwhile every other team in the league has infinite money to sign every free agent.

Game 32 : Original 6.3 - Boston
I as well do not want to get over excited, but what does open my eyes is that the team is not depending on two guys putting up massive points while the goalie plays lights out in order to win. Having 10 or so guys on pace for 50 - 80 points while playing sound defensively is a really impressive amount of depth.

Tre Ford gets pissed off being benched again and joins the Blue Bombers as QB in 2025 after Zach retires?

Call it what you want … you need to move on from Collaros
Prukop as a 3rd down QB I'm fine with. As the 2nd string... no.

Would someone like Laine be considered a disappointment even though he has put up good numbers?

Restaurant/food thread
I'm not a fan of cheap fast food or generic chain restaurants. I'm a much bigger fan of the non chain local restaurants that make everything fresh and with higher quality ingredients. These days most family chain restaurants are hurting because the younger generation usually have higher standards, and for Sorrentos the menu for the other locations is kind of stuck in the 80's. I'll give it a try and leave a review once it does open since it is nearby and they do have kids meals. Until then I'll complain and just tell people to visit Roxy's in Selkirk or Jonseys in East St Paul for all your restaurant needs.

The Retirement Thread
I thought Patrick was healthy and bombed and then was hurt/unhealthy and traded and fizzled out? He did play 70+ games in his first two seasons and I do remember the chatter being him being a huge bust early on. Either way unfortunate.

Restaurant/food thread
Wow this city really likes erecting new buildings and not filling out the many empty locations that already exist. Sorrentos seems like such a tired old brand, but maybe they'll hit it lucky since the Transcona area for some bizarre reason loves cheap over priced "Italian Food" since Olive Garden is always packed.

Try G & L Liquidators on Logan, they sometimes import American candy + drinks.

Former Bombers in NFL (and spring leagues) news
Same goes with the NY Jets when they trotted out Boyle who was terrible in college and terrible in the big leagues yet given a shot over Strev who at least showed something a few during his pre seasons.

Restaurant/food thread
That line up was as silly as when Jollibees came to Winnipeg... people waiting in lines for months to have some of the worst quality fast food that you can possibly get. We tried Culvers a few times on our holidays from the summer. The food is very average IMO but it is really good value for kids meals so it was worth it for us to go. We also tried Chick-Fil-A for the first time during the same holiday and I'd say it's significantly better then Culvers.

The Health Thread
It's not so bad as of today, but I wonder how seniors in 15 or so years will be able to survive on a smaller income. At least many of the current seniors are/were able to get ahead financially since they were able to purchase a house for a fair price and then sell it at the current insane high levels. Middle class is also shrinking at a scary rate so I'm going to guess down the road Canada will be similar to the States in which you see seniors working hard until the day they die.
