I don't think Ripper is referring to the 'deployment of internationals' fine, rather he's referring to Chris Jones allegedly negotiating with Sask 2 weeks before the GC was even played, then a week after officially taking the job in Sask bringing 7 of his assistant coaches from EDM along with him. Although, according to the Edmonton journal, Hervey withheld 2 weeks pay from the assistants still employed by EDM following the GC, which spurred the exodus. I think both sides are pricks, either way...

I'm right there with you guys. Eastern semi against HAM might be the greatest game I've personally attended. Upper deck, East side, South endzone... we had parkas and snow pants, hot chocolate, and wool blankets. Cumulative, we've suffered through a whopping 4 hours of weather delays at IGF. I don't think that comes anywhere near justifying the tens of millions of dollars it would have cost us just for the privilege of playing lame indoor football. It's an accurate statement imo... plays have been there, but Willy can't connect... whether it's overthrowing deep balls or throwing short at a receiver's ankles, he just can't reliably make the play.

And the people who continue to insist that Oshea never shows emotion or fire, did you not see him laying into the refs following the CGY offside that led to a TD. I don't read lips... but he wasn't exactly commending them on their efforts...
