It's a matter of taste, not usually worth debating... still, I think you're right, not a single 'new' rock group that moves the needle at all for me right now. The last 'new' rock group I got excited about was Monster Truck and they peaked pre-COVID. I really like some punk rock coming out nowadays, especially from overseas. Check out IDLES, Viagra Boys, Amyl and the Sniffers, big hitters in their scene that aren't yet household names, these could send you down a rabbit hole if you like grimy noisy fun-loving punk Good rockers and metal acts from past decades haven't gone away. Deftones, Machine Head, In Flames among others all coming through town this year, Papa Roach and The Used were just announced (if you're into that, no judgments haha). That's off the top of my head. So many shows to choose from!
  2. A cruller... there is nothing crueller than being forced to listen to that
  3. I remember Davis being lights out on the practice net, that's really about it. Perfect accuracy at a short distance with no pressure in his face. Big whoop I can do that on a good day
  4. From "I am a genius" to "I am not a smart man" in 60 seconds
  5. https://www.cfl.ca/2025/03/28/bc-toronto-saskatchewan-ottawa-exceed-2024-salary-expenditure-cap/ "In addition to being fined, the BC Lions will forfeit the highest of their first- and second-round selections (Nos. 3 and 9) in the 2025 CFL Draft due to the amount by which they exceeded the cap. BC retains its lower second-round selection (No. 11)." It wasn't worth it, BC. Way to shoot yourself in both feet
  6. First BOLO now Kelly when will the Bombers stop hemorrhaging this generational talent We will miss his no stats registered
  7. OMG AC/DC was 10 years ago, time sure does fly

Awesome, Killswitch goes back a ways, glad to hear they still put on a good show! Metal is one of my favorite kinds of shows to see live but it's a tough sell for my nonmetal social group. Deftones are playing the arena this year, looking forward to that. Gojira (France Olympic opening ceremony) is also coming to town (yay) but opening for KoRn (boo, one concert I actually left early it was so sad)
  9. Tui kind of went poof too back in 2022 himself. Have to wonder, had he not chosen to sit out the end of 2021 and all of 2022 would he be our starting C today? I really do believe so, same as I believe he should be the starter today (or at least get a chance to prove he shouldn't be) Only reason Kola even came off the PR was because Eli didn't want the jab leading up to the 2021 GC. Then he became the starter by default because both Couture and Eli made him the last man standing by leaving. Default, the two sweetest words to Kola since 2022

  13. I have a bunch of paper Popeyes Bucks and some tokens from Topo Gigio unicity
  14. "Good news! We have a role you were BORN FOR. His name is Banjo Picking Inbred #1" "But I don't play the Banjo" "...we'll work around it."
  15. I envied Edmonton for their LRT system back in the early 2000's, but from what I've heard it's since gotten as bad or worse than Winnippeg public transit has, somehow (in terms of understaffing routes or underserving neighbourhoods, being even remotely on schedule, so on). Edmonton is Winnipeg with topography
  16. That's fair. I'm not surprised when NFL talents hold out for that last NFL call that never comes before finally accepting it and heading North. Sites list him at 6'0 or 6'1, 180-200lbs, plays teams, I'm happy to take a look. I do wonder what happened in CGY, though.
  17. He's 6 months younger than Deatrick Nichols too, last I heard Nichols was pretty good for an 'old' DB
  18. Max Halls stash + Elliotts confidence = 8 time back to back to back GC winners in summary legalize blow
  19. A semi legitimate excuse to meet the fellas at Hooters before and after
  20. Imagine thinking GC wins were the only metric for success, that would make Milt a flop of a nobody, and Khari only knew success with the Riders
  21. Yes particularly if we're talking about the GC parade everyone including Oshea seemed to be enjoying themselves, whether or not they made a big show of it. I for one couldn't stop grinning for weeks straight after our 2019 GC win.
  22. I guess I was just so distracted by that -77 ticat differential that nothing was sinking in haha It has got to be rough
  23. I also thought it was way off, then I noticed it's only tracking from 1954 onward Argos and Bombers both won 9 in that span, Als won 7, the most recent wins are included... I think it's all there Yeesh if being a Cats Stamps or Riders fan wasn't bad enough on it's own... those are some rough numbers in the big dance
  24. I wasn't quoting you, goof, I was quoting Speedflex and it was already clarified and sorted out. Not everything is about you. Keep up, read then post
