Leon is great but I don't consider him a generational talen and I don't think anyone expected him to be as good as he's been. McDavid has been the promised one since he was a kid while some "experts" (like Button or McKenzie) had Leon rated 4th or lower in his draft year. We're splitting hairs though - A++ vs A+ is still exceptional.

I could easily see him staying. He's got a very good job here and he (and his family) have been entrenched in the community. He's still been doing stuff in local schools (anti-bullying campaigns) as recently as a month ago so even if he's not with the Bombers anymore, he's still active in that aspect. I could just as easily see him leaving though - his kids are young enough that uprooting them wouldn't be too hard and he could do his job (or a similar one) anywhere.

Like his day 10 write-up, for example, was 95% about Schoen getting healthy, 3% about Willie and Adams acting crazy on ST drills & 2% about Lofton coming back in & a handful of guys sitting out. Not quite true. Wilson was getting a lot of reps with the 1st team offense early in main camp last year so there was some talk. He was also listed as one of our neg listers in Sep 2023 and then signed to a futures contract a month later so he was already on the radar prior to last year. The problem is that we don't hear a whole lot about camp in general anymore - doesn't matter if it's an established vet or a rookie.
