Chiefs release Weston Dressler(Updated: Now signed by Riders)
Matthews and Dressler I think I'm OK with that. Maybe Stoudermire can be the emergency RB if ever Grigsby goes down.

Does he plays RB? If KW will be able to sign him who sits?

The sick bay
The biggest hit will be Neufeld. I'm not sure the extent of his injury though. If it's serious, this will be the second game against the Riders that he wont dress. Goossen might play the RG... or we could go with Knapp there (at the expense of Cotton). Briggs will go to the IR too, I think.

Alex Hall and Linden Gaydosh released by Panthers
I'm for bringing Alex Hall back here. We could use some added pressure from the ends.

So I think we know who the better RB is now
I given up on Cotton. With how the way he's playing I dont think he will see himself as the Bombers starting RB. Id like to see Bolton or MCDuffie next. I'm still confused who's the RB or whos the WR.

SJ Green to the Riders?
from the Rider fans forum, I can see the name of Picard being brought up... If Taman, Chamblin and the coaches thinks that Watman and/or Clark is ready to takeover that C position, sending Picard to the Als will definitely give them some cap space. Picard for Green and a 1st rounder (potential #1 overall) will be a smart trade. I think.

SJ Green to the Riders?
Taman could be giving up a upper round draft pick here and probably another player possibly an import.

SJ Green to the Riders?
The Als is in sell-mode already there's no way they are making the playoffs even with 9 games left. Walters should acquire a good player that they are willing to part to help us in our second half push.

Week 9 Depth Chart
It's tough keeping up with all the Joneses on this team... Jarvis Jones (65) is not on the 46 yet.... the Joneses on the the current 44 are Kyle Jones (47) and Derek Jones (41)

Week 9 Depth Chart
- Ameet Pall
I believe its up to $750 per week now. If Pall's not any good and will stay for only a week... then what's $750?- Ameet Pall
How much will it cost the Bombers to put a player on the PR... $500 / week?- Lineup changes?
anybody feel that Renaud will be back this game?- Stoudermire on offence?
STOUDERMIRE, STOUDERMIRE He's your AMAZING STOUDERMIRE Field position? any time Field the ball then he flies Look Out! Here comes TROY STOUDERMIRE- Infirmary Update
Herb Zurkowsky @HerbZurkowsky1 #Als' RB Brandon Whitaker, who has had significant knee problems in his career, just hurt himself and left the field, limping. oops... Herb Zurkowsky @HerbZurkowsky1 Brandon Whitaker has returned. It didn't look too serious at the time.- Infirmary Update
Grigsby shown he has the skill to be a RB/WR type guy so he's safe in my books, at least to be that 2nd RB. If Cotton doesn't cut it, no need to waste time. Give others the chance. Or If I'm Walters I'll make a trade for Tim Brown who's buried on the Lions depth chart. Time for Cotton to cook or get off the stove. If he isn't good enough to help the Bombers or challenge Grigsby, send him down the road. you give Grigsby almost half a year but Cotton one despite Grigsby only getting the job in the first place due to injury? The point was that we need to find out if Cotton has the ability to play at the level needed. Grigsby is such a mixed bag that the only true thing we can say about him is that he has the potential but is inconsistent. Our running game is nothing short of pathetic, and it may not be completely the fault of Grigsby but something has to change or we're down to the definition of insanity. My point is that Montreal for all their flaws has a tough defense and is pretty good against the run regardless so judging the running game with Cotton only on what he does against Montreal is not a good idea. Grigsby got 8 games to show he couldn't handle the load, we gotta give Cotton a couple at least. For my money he was one of the best offensive players we dressed in preseason, give him a fair judgement period. Pre-season is pre-season though. There are lot of names that stand out durin the preseason that are not in Blue&gold now.- Muamba, Inman, Dressler, Sheets
Riders can always go over the cap if they like. They are notorious for that. They feel like they have an extra $99,999 from the wallets of their fans who are willing to buy whatever product on the store they put their logo with.- Scrap divisions?
this deserve a 100x likes.- Muamba, Inman, Dressler, Sheets
OT Edawn Coughman (formerly with the Argos) released by the Bills.- Kromah likely to make Bomber debut Friday
Nice to point that out. Re Kromah, the issue is how will he bounced back from the injury. If he will regain his old form prior to injury it will be good for the Bombers.- Infirmary Update

I'll go out of the box and say set 3 divisions: - West: BC, CGY, EDM - East: TOR, MTL, HAM - Central: WPG, SSK and Ottawa (since they are newest team ) - Bombers vs 2 RoughRiders team Or scrap the East/West/Central and just let the team draw a lot on which division / bracket they will fall. Each team plays: - divisions rivals 3x = 6games - non-division rivals 2x = 12 games After regular season: - top team on each division wins the division title - top 6, regardless of division, advance to the playoffs Playoffs scenario: #1 & #2 gets the bye #3 vs #6 winner meets #1 #4 vs #5 winner meets #2 final 2 meets in the GC- Infirmary Update
I also heard from the TSN 1290 report that the Bombers will make a switch on the RB. Said, Cotton will start ahead of Grigsby. I guess this is the day Cotton has been waiting for. An opportunity to steal this starting job by very good performance. A fail could probably mean bye-bye for him ( to give opportunity to the other backs) since I dont see Grigsby going anywhere. - Ameet Pall
