Imo, the timing of Ottawa returning, a shallow 2014 CFL draft and more CIS players getting looks in the NFL... make it looks like there are not enough National players around. In a year or two, especially next CFL draft, which believed to be a deeper pool... the deficiency will be filled.

I think this will be the game that Kromah will steal a spot. Last time, he played backup of the Wild man who got 14 tackles that game (vs Als). With Wild being out this week he will get all the chances to make his play.

Moseley is versatile and can play multiple position on the D.. he played DE and LB (inside and outside) in college. I remember most if us thought he would make the roster instead of Frazer after TC.

Brett Carter is on active roster since Aug 11. The roster page in both CFL.ca and bluebombers.com are not updated. If they were able to sign Huclack he will come in the 44. If not, Swiston or Alexander will probably come in. It's possible that 2 of those injured will just go to the 2-man.

If you like the CFL, you shouldn't be cheering for the Toronto franchise to fold. It'd be awful for the league. Can you explain why? Toronto is like the problem child for the CFL for many years now. And what the league should do if no one wants to buy the team from Braley?

It shouldn't surprise anyone that the Redblacks are interested. If Matthews is all about the money he will be in Ottawa. Hope he learned from Vega... (loyalty and not the money). If Desjardins is looking for a guy who is maybe better than Matthews, trade for Williams from ticats... that guy will surely sign there for the $$$. Williams is likely to wait until next year as he will be a free-agent and he unlikely has little interest in making peanuts playing for Austin. Williams will not play for Austin for sure. Austin will rather trade him now and get something or lose him for nothing. Austin claims that there's no animosity between him and Williams, is not true and is just a ploy not to lower the trade value.

I'm not sure if Williams did it but definitely Thigpen did it first.
