Bomber News: 2019 Off Season
I think I'd go cheap and promote somebody from within, rather than spend $180k on anybody at safety.

Around the League: 2019 Off Season
I'm sure we still have $250k in our budget. The issue seems to be that we don't want to pay that much for a rg. That seems reasonable to me. Is there another olineman in the league making anything close to that? Edit: will be very interested to see what his offers are if he goes to fa.

He's faded down the stretch the last few seasons.

I can't find mention of Jefferson and the Bombers. Was that on Twitter or tv?

Speller's a centre too, I think.

I can't imagine Dressler or Roosevelt get anything close to what Banks is worth. Both are breaking down and less productive when they are healthy. It's possible Roosevelt has another big season in him if he plays in a better offense, but it's hard to see him staying healthy for more than half a season.

I'm interested to see what he got. Gotta think he'll be the highest paid receiver in the league.

Kendall Coyne-Schofield was stupid fast. Maybe the most exciting thing that's ever happened in the skills competition.

That's an interesting take. I'm not sure anybody outside the Sask borders would agree with you.

Last year.

Bomber News: 2019 Off Season
Depends how big the overpay is, but I agree with your point. Would any other team in the league be paying anywhere near as much for their OL as we would be by bringing back everybody from last season, plus a full season of Gray & a re-signed Couture?

Bomber News: 2019 Off Season
I think BJ Cunningham would be a good target. Probably won't make what the top guys in fa will, but has the potential be very good as part of a functioning offense. Eugene Lewis would be another interesting addition. If you can be even modestly productive with the Als, there may be a lot of untapped potential.

Unbelievable. They just can't help themselves.

I'm curious as to why you think this. Goossen has been so involved in the community, you'd think it would be more likely to see him back.

Charles Nelson could potentially fill that role.

Darren CameronVerified account @Darren_Cameron #Bombers have re-signed DE Jackson Jeffcoat to two-year extension. Jeffcoat was to be a free agent next month. Over two seasons in Winnipeg (28 games), he’s recorded 12 sacks, 57 defensive tackles, one INT & three forced fumbles. Recorded four sacks in two playoff games in 2018.

I can't even begin to describe how excited I'd be to watch us smash the Riders with Durant back as their qb.

I'm not sure how many dbs in the NFL are that size either.

Around the League: 2019 Off Season
Yeah, that might be the direction I'd go, if I were them. Lapo or Trestman. Best case scenario is they hire from within, have the same crappy offense with McAdoo, and a much weaker defense without Jones.

They were 3-15 before he got there and 12-6 when he left. I'm certainly not a fan of his, but that's not running a team into the ground. I wouldn't want him as a head coach, but I'd definitely take him as a dc.

Ted Wyman @Ted_Wyman 3m3 minutes ago From what I'm hearing at #CFL meetings it doesn't sound as of now like the BC Lions are going to be in on LB Adam Bighill if he gets to free agency, which certainly makes it more likely that he will stay with #Bombers.

Maxime BernierVerified account @MaximeBernier 6/ Trudeau has said we are a post-national country, and spends $M to get a UN Security Council seat and $B in aid in other countries. IS HE LOYAL TO CANADA OR LOYAL TO A FUTURE WORLD GOVERNMENT THAT WILL DESTROY CANADA?

I liked him as kid, when he was the voice of the wjhc. Not of fan of him doing NHL games though. I think he did the Spengler Cup this year.
