Why does it seem far-fetched to you. He did have a number of work-outs with NFL teams. He doesn't have the size to play Linebacker in the NFL. How much experience does he have at other positions? Special teams.

Credibility = gone. +/- might just be the worst stat in all of sports. Every stat has it's purpose, but +/- is certainly low on the list of stats I would use to judge the usefulness of a hockey player.

That seems to be the opinion of a lot of people around here. We have to get used to the idea of potentially having several good players on our team at the same time.

As per Wiecek on twitter Burris' agent says they've received multiple offers and will decide early next week. He also said the Bombers have been very aggressive.

Geroy went for an import receiver with man boobs, cut in training camp by the Lions, and a 3rd rounder. Banks is probably worth a 4th or 5th rounder. If we think Poblah is worth the same or less, it's a good trade for us. Clearly BC sees something in Poblah, otherwise they would have just taken a pick, which would cost them much less. If this draft is as bad as most make it out to be, a pick last year was more valuable than it would be this year. I think Banks has more to offer us than Simon gave the Riders.

Korey Banks was on H & L this afternoon and said Burris would be a Bomber. Lawless asked if him if that was just a guess or if he knew something the rest of us didn't, and he said it was "much more than a guess". He also said he doesn't sign the contracts, but would put money on Burris becoming a Bomber. Apparently they're good friends, so it seems as though they've been talking...

I appreciate the hours you must have put into those rants, but you should have noticed that we were disagreeing, not agreeing, on how our problems are b/c of the fans. It's odd, with all the research you apparently do, that you didn't notice that.

No kidding. No other fanbase has been forced to endure the brutality we've seen over the last two+ decades. Other fanbases don't have as much to complain about as we do. Again, we're not hiring the right people if they let fan complaints dictate personnel moves. Get somebody with a good plan and a set of balls who can make a plan & stick to it & maybe the fans will have less to complain about.

Of the two vet dbs we've talked about, I'd much rather have Banks.
