Not overly nervous about the game - so long as we keep Ford in the pocket. Tre Ford isn't beating us if he's forced to be one dimensional with his arm. I envision this as our typical scrappy, drag em out kind of game which we pull off late in the fourth quarter.

Feeling torn watching this game. I'd love to see Ottawa win - which appears increasingly unlikely but am well aware Montreal winning and wrapping up the east in advance of the final week of the regular season is in our best interest.

Exactly my point. Our calls based on situational football have been baffling this season, especially early on. It's not as bad as it was in June and July but still lots of head scratching decisions by Buck and going away from things that have been the bread and butter of our offence for the last four or five seasons. We are way too pass happy given our issues in pass protection, and especially given the the receiving core we were forced to trot out early in the season given the injuries we had and inexperience of our players at the time.

If you're first in yards per play on first down, and have the ranks we do on second down, you're clearly not running the ball enough. Brady needs 20 carries a game.

I feel for the most part, BC games are rather predictable. It's usually apparent early what version of Rourke you're going to get. This looks like mediocre, chuck and duck and take bad sacks Rourke.

It's literally impossible for you to legitimately complement the man without a "yeah, but" or backhanded complement included within your commentary, isn't it?

At this point in his career, I think Big Stan can manage just fine without practice.

Imagine even remotely implying, nevermind flat out saying, a head coach that has taken his team to four straight championship games, winning two of them, and being the 5th fastest coach to win 100 games was an idiot or didn't know how to do his job. You don't have to agree with who he starts and who he sits, and you don't have to agree with how he utilizes the game day roster. But still... Imagine. Comedy.

I mean...if your QB has an 80 per cent completion percentage over the last two games and over 600 yards passing and your angle is he's still not playing well, just be open and honest and say your opinion is based on simply not liking the guy (which is well within your right) versus actually evaluating what he's doing on the field.
