Remember when in back to back weeks we had Lucky and Janarion racking up return yards as brand new players to the team? 2019 was insane. I like Smith... There's potential there.

So i keep thinking back to this interview Walters gave a couple years ago. About succession planning. He said something along the lines of "you can't replace everyone all at once, so you have to do it carefully... A couple pieces at a time..." Yada yada etc. So I keep thinking they were trying this and really ****** up ... Or Osh ****** up the plan by overruling. But I remember specifically that Walters had at least some kind of plan for succession of players....

And the thing is, he was re-signed early this past offseason if I remember right... Like an absolute no doubter for some reason. I've got all the respect in the world for the 2019 core that got us two cups ... But my **** that's a long time ago, in pro sports terms.... Jake the first of several that needs to be ushered out in a professional manner.

This is all fair. And unfortunate.

It wasn't cost... It was injury history. They didn't want to invest in a guy who might not last more than a half dozen games. It sucks that he proved them wrong and appears to still be going strong, but I understand the logic of why they wanted to move on...

Ya you guys aren't wrong... Things have definitely changed. Part of it is the advent of digital and how important that is to radio now. The actual traditional broadcast is more to supplement the digital engagement in a lot of cases. Not all stations are like that, but major markets like Winnipeg tend to be. I actually really enjoy CJOBs The Start. Mackling just seems like a genuinely good dude. I'm not really into what Burpee does on air but everything he does is with a genuine love for the province and the city. I have mad respect for that. There's still some good stuff out there, but in some cases it's definitely changed a lot..

How in the actual **** can you watch what Brady did all last season, and then what he did against Ottawa last week, and say "ehhh he's not that important..." ?? I get that it's a big contract but he was our entire offense last year, and last week, finally somewhat healthy, proved he can still be.

Faaaaaaaaaack. He was getting up there but damn I love the Oaks. Bonsall was a talent and a half. They had so many hits and their Christmas album is a staple in my house.

The delay with Lucky was a passport issue. I don't think there is any "getting in Bucks ear" because they basically do things as a group. Zach is essentially a coach in this team. And if I remember right, they've talked about how all the QBs work together with Buck to come up with new plays and work on the playbook for each week. There's no real conspiracy afoot here.

It's not as bad as people want to make it out to be, but it's definitely not great. The first two are much better. I'm looking forward to the new one.

Ehhhhhhhhhhh...... He's not a BAD PBP guy per se..... He's just very very raw. I also find his Ontario accent very grating. ABOUT becomes A-BAY-OAT.... it's painful at times. But they need younger guys. Him, Nielsen and eventually DT will be the next generation around for a long time on TSN.

He's definitely over and under throwing receivers, but it's not all on him. This team is ****. I wonder how much of this Milano wears?

Hamilton is so ******* bad... Wow. I thought we were the worst, but nope. These guys are legitimately terrible.

That ******* needs to get gone... Really bad look from the Argos, and honestly the league, if he's allowed to return... Especially in light of them supposedly taking a hard line stance on violence against women....
