Still Struggling
shared this in another thread.... didn't realize this existed. Can't thank you enough for writing it. I suffer with depression, anxiety (and possibly some other stuff that they're not 100% sure about) and am having a really hard time with this loss. Like "death in the family" kinda grief. Most people think it's insane (it is, to a degree) but it's also really normal. "You're not alone" and "it's okay to not be okay" are really important right now.

wanted to take a moment to thank @Zach Schnitzerfor writing this piece. I, too, suffer from various mental illness, including depression and anxiety..... and "You're not alone" is a key phrase for people like us. I care more about this team, and (especially living in AB) my identity is so entangled with the team, that this championship loss has caused me a lot of grief. Like a death in the family kind of grief. But, as Zach says here: It's normal and we're not alone.

Don't Look Back - 2022/2023 Bombers Off Season
“We’ll take some time to evaluate, but I’d love to be back here,” said Demski, who posted career-best numbers with 64 receptions for 772 yards and 10 TDs in just 13 games. “I’ll take some time to evaluate everything and see where it goes. “There’s a huge list of why I’d want to come back. At the end of the day, you just never know in this league; the CFL, it’s a nine-team league, everybody talks so I’ll sit back and evaluate and see what happens.”

he's arguably the best receiver in the game.... every team needs him.

that's definitely possible, but he's loyal as ****.... I'd be curious what the exit interview with Buck is like.

saying we don't need Lawler back is asinine. Also, I would be SHOCKED if Sheed wasn't back next year.- Don't Look Back - 2022/2023 Bombers Off Season

I'm already sick and tired of hearing about the Argos winning and the Bombers losing. I am in dire need of some good news. Let's get some coaching/management/player contract signing news going.......- Still love this team
Well, that's a good fit, because I don't think Saskatchewan is above last on players lists of places to play..- 2022/2023 Off-Season (League/Non-Bombers-specific News)
some interesting stuff here about an American TV deal incoming.......- Still love this team
always remember.... 58, 59, 61, 62.....- How retired is Jason Medlock?
there's a quote from Liegghio himself saying he striped it and it was "going to go in" but a hand got through...... but who really knows. It shouldn't have come to that.- Don't Look Back - 2022/2023 Bombers Off Season

Sounds like MBT a dually wants to retire according to reports. Got his ring and wants to just be a dad and husband now.- How retired is Jason Medlock?
you guys talk like converts are still 7 yards out. It's not as simple as it used to be, and it's not like he's the only one missing the odd one here and there. It's really insane to be this hung up on Liegghio. He was not the problem.- 2022 CFL Season - Non Back 2 Back Champs News

always the voice of sober second thought........thank you Bob (always...)- Grey Cup 2022 GDT
I just said to my buddies last night "I like hockey, but I just don't like it enough to care as much as I do about the CFL...." I love curling, and will get excited for the various playdowns starting in January, but honestly, the only thing that's going to get me through this off-season is ice fishing. My wife and I are going to spend a lot of time camping out on a southern Alberta reservoir this winter, and that'll be the one thing I have to look forward to until May...- Grey Cup 2022 GDT
LESS CFL??!!!??? Jayyyyzusssss........ no, no, no, no. The off season is too long as it is. I'm going to have a ***** of a time getting through to May.........- Still love this team
that's actually a good point.... Wade is as crucial to all this as Osh/Walters are. He's willing to spend to create a winner. I suppose the bitterness of losing this game will hopefully motivate the roster to be even better next year and not let it slip through their grasp.- 3 stars plus hh streak break
Stove isn't coming back...need to move on from that idea and find someone else. He doesn't want to play in Winnipeg, and coming off his injury, he's a huge risk. Let's just go down to the pound and get a new stove...- Still love this team
this is fair, but I definitely do feel a bit of 2001, in so much as it feels like it COULD be the beginning of the end of this run. I mean, we had to lose eventually, I guess, but I am so scarred from 28 years of not winning it all, that it's going to take a LOT longer than a 2 year run to erase the uneasy feeling of "here we go again..." - Still love this team
