  1. Yeah, I'm pretty sure Global players are basically an extra DI and needs to replace an American unless the team started more than 7 Canadians.

He shouldn't be lifting the cup over his head. But whatever.

Where was the after party? The tent where Brett Kissel was playing?
  4. When the Jets were making their run a couple of seasons ago, Jets fans were making fun of the Bombers by saying the Jets were going to win a Cup first even with not having a team for 15 years. Pro-Jets, anti-Bombers fans are almost as bad as Rider fans. I guess Chipman no longer needs to buy the Bombers to make them a winner.
  5. I am so looking forward to the TSN Wired Up show from the Grey Cup. Sportscentre showed some clips and they had Harris giving Lawrence the gears. A lot of times players like to talk smack and not back it up. But clearly the Bombers came to play.

The street name is still going to be called Matheson Road. Instead of changing the actual street name like they did for Milt Stegall Drive the city started to do this honorary option. The honorary street names are initially for 5 years but then can be renewed.

At least more of the crowd will be cheering for the Bombers compared to 2007 and 2011. Hopefully that makes a bit of a difference.

Yeah, crazy that the last time the Bombers played an Eastern team in the Grey Cup was against the TiCats in 1984. The Bombers' last 7 appearances have been against Western opponents.
  10. Yeah, but I wouldn't blame O'Shea's first two playoff loses on Nichols. I believe he did enough to beat the Lions and Esks. It was just bad defence and poor offensive play calling that did the Bombers in.
  11. Can you wear a Noeller jersey so we track you down and give you salami shoulder at TD Manitoba. Lol I'll prolly be wearing my Salisbury jersey. Say hi if u see me.
  12. O'Shea has quickly improved his playoff record with the Bombers to 3-3. Which is a lot better than after that O-2 start with those stinkers against BC and Edmonton.
  13. I got my flights (great WestJet deal at the time) and hotel (downtown is expensive) but need game tix. We will prolly wait until we get to Calgary to sniff around for tix. Definitely looking for something on the Bombers' side of the stadium. I'm not sure if the Bombers will have a charter but it's entirely possible that WestJet or Air Canada will add flights from the Peg.

For those leaving in the morning, keep in mind Saskatchewan currently has the same time as Winnipeg. There's no saving an hour this time of year.
  16. Who was it that recognized GBill at one of the Bomber practices? GBill went off on him accusing him of being a stocker. LOL
  17. Lol. Cortisone Chris.
  18. I was at the 2011 and 2007 games and 2007 was much worse. Back then the Riders were still loveable losers and 80 percent of the Skydome was green. It would be great to see the Bombers in a Grey Cup with most of the crowd on their side.
  19. It's bad enough stumbling across his tweets from time to time.
  20. I think the bigger news coming out of Regina today is that the Riders practiced indoors. Like come on, the weather (-6c) was similar to Winnipeg's and the Bombers were outside.
  21. The media is there today and Friday. So far there are reports - 20 minutes into practice - that he hasn't thrown a ball yet.
  22. I'd feel more at ease if the Bombers have the ball down by 2 with two minutes left than if the Riders need to score with two minutes to go. The Bombers' defence hasn't proved to me they can stop teams when it matters. Sure there was the last game of the season but how many games have they pissed away both in the regular season and playoffs?
