See this is what I mean... collaros isn't generating any more yards per game than Nichols did AND throws more dangerous balls. Yet people act like he is amazaballs out there. He is running the blue bombers offense, just like matt Nichols did, just like streveler does (though more running from streveler)

Now post the clip from Sunday where collaros had Harris on the check down for a good play but held onto the ball too long and by the time he got it to him the play was doa. One play doesn't define anyone. Collaros has done some good things, but Nichols has too, and streveler. But people wanna hang off collaros nuts because he's the new guy and the team is 2-0 since he got playing time.

This team is rarely over confident. If any team is going to fall prey to that it will be the riders, one of the biggest collections of arrogance personified I have ever seen.

For all the praise people are heaping on collaros he hasn't done anything Nichols wasn't doing. Then you add in his soft head and collaros is simply a hired gun for the playoffs.

The only way this team loses to the riders is if they turn the ball over too much. That was the story the two losses to those asshats. Turn overs in bad places on the field taking points off the board.

I was 50 rows up and I could see mitchell shitting his pants as that play unfolded.

His pocket broke down and he bought some time and no one was open for him so he made a poor choice to ground the ball. It encapsulated his frustration with how the day was going and it was all downhill for the stamps from there. It was the play where the stamps stopped believing they could win.

Both teams dropped some catchable balls, but BLM was feeling frustrated by the defence. That intentional grounding was the moment the bombers d broke his spirit.

Lapo can be a great oc, or he can be a useless play caller. I stand by my assessment that he is a smart guy who often is a poor play caller who lacks in game awareness. So no he is not a great oc nor are we lucky to have him. He is a guy who we all hope doesn't outsmart himself in game.

The first half wasn't even that poor. Collaros had some drops from receivers and some timing issues being new to the team, and on d they missed a few tackles and took some penalties that cost them. The half time assessment from my seat was "clean it up and we got em right where we want em"

If we can make BLM look like a ***** fajardo should be no problem.

If fajardo has even less arm strength with that injury it'll be ugly cause the guy has a weak assed arm to start with. The way the bombers secondary played today the only thing to worry about against the riders is turn overs.
