Wiki is right. Bond was at training camp last year and was very impressive: https://www.winnipegfreepress.com/sports/football/bombers/the-name-is-bond-travis-bond-381687671.html IIRC, he got injured and wasn't able to start until week 6.

Labour Day Classic: Winnipeg @ Saskatchewan
Yup. I'd say we are better than last year but I would put $0 on our winning the cup this year. Given that I've outlived my father by 19 years, I'm getting more than a bit worried about this.

It seems that Geoff Grey is not doing very well with the Packers. If he becomes available and we sign him, Neufeld may become expendable. (Not least because he made $150k last year and we'll need to find some cap space for Grey.)- Season at the half. awards, stats and fun.
In reply to the 'fun' part of the thread title, the Bombers season (so far) in a nutshell: https://www.cfl.ca/2017/08/29/must-see-tv-13-moments-brought-us-seats/ (But I sure hope that we're not going to have to depend on Carmichael on Sunday.)- Around the League - Regular Season Discussion (Redux)
So we have a competition here: Jamaal W vs Henoc M. Go Bombers. https://twitter.com/JamaalWesterman/status/903262008371548160- Flying High into Montréal: Bombers vs. Als
Yeah, it's crazy that Thick Nik needs 9 receptions to become the All-Time Leader and they can't afford to start him.- GDT: EDMONTON @ WINNIPEG

It also helps that Mike Bajakian, the QB coach of Tampa Bay, was the Offensive Coordinator at Central Michigan when LeFevour played there. (LeFevour was on the Bucs roster for a few months last year. )- EDMONTON ESKIMOS @ HAMILTON TIGER-CATS

Yeah, I'd love for us to have a basically free #1 overall pick two years in a row.- Biggest Rivalry in the CFL: Regina Winnipeg
You needn't really worry about that. Many of them have extra toes on their feet.- Prognosticators: Us - Part 2
So did I but when I compared his profile to Kelly's Wiki page and noticed they had the same birthdate, I figured there's no way Kelly would be that dumb. BTW, the real Mike Kelly occasionally posted on OurBombers with the nick "JustSayin" until someone figured it out and challenged him.- Biggest Rivalry in the CFL: Regina Winnipeg
Appreciate thoughts from those of you who know more about the technicalities of the game as to how we could exploit this:- Around the League - Regular Season Discussion (Redux)
They'll miss him on July 7th. https://www.cfl.ca/2017/06/26/stamps-rb-roy-finch-suspended-two-games-violating-drug-policy/- How does our week 2 roster shape up?
Nope, not Blaszko:- Bombers cut Apodaca, Frederick and 9 more
You're quite probably right but mainly because although Burke was an excellent DC, he turned out to be the pits as a head coach. I find it difficult to come to a conclusion about how good a coach Kelly was. After all he did have Rick Campbell and Mark Nelson as his coordinators and they're now sporting shiny new Grey Cup rings. I can't help but wonder how much the Bomber wins that year were due to their contributions.- 3 stars plus HH first preseason game edition
That's for sure.- Live from Mosaic
Well that was disappointing. I figured that they'd at least update it. Russ Hopson is tweeting clips of the game:- Live from Mosaic
Your guess is as good as mine: https://www.pscp.tv/w/1LyxBBQYZapxN- PreSeason Game 1 vs Rider Depth Chart
Wouldn't it be great if one (or both) of them catches a TD pass. I'd like to say that not even the most delusional Riderfan poster could put a positive spin on that but I think I'd be wrong. - Injury Report
