One of the weirdest things is the 2 point conversions. The way he explained it post-game was that "we'd have to get into the endzone 6 times." Except the conversions would be from the 2 yard line. Anyone want to compare odds of getting in from the 2 as opposed to Liegghio's career PAT %? It's not much different. Also factor in that Hamilton is the worst stadium for kickers in the league. Also you force yourself to need an extra offensive possession just because you have a phobia of 2 point converts. I don't get his philosophy on those at all.

Harrison played 2 snaps vs Calgary inside the 3 minute warning when McCrae had to go out. Crazy too because Harrison is exactly the kind of receiver Collaros loves and that we are missing with Ellingson AND Wolitarsky out. BOLO was good in Woli's spot, but BOLO is also a guy with a pretty tough injury history so crazy to me we have him rostered with essentially no backup (Grant to me is not at all a viable receiver) other than using Miller/OL as TE for rest of the game. Glad we dressed 7 OL, one of whom didn't even step on the field. We actually had a load of guys on D, we just didn't use them. Barrett, Cooper, Cole all dressed. When our D couldn't stop anything do we have a package to sub any of those guys in for any role, no? We took that OL spot from the receiving corps.

I have complaints about Jefferson, but a lot of it is usage. He's kind of like having a Ferrari in Winnipeg, you drive it down the right roads at the right time, it's not the car you take to work on a Tuesday. IMO not a every down player like he's become in this back half of the season. We need to rotate him out. Makes a lot of lazy plays, consistently gives up his outside leverage letting QB's/runs by him and don't get the big plays from him when he plays more. If he plays 2/3 of snaps you give him a bit of cover and he has the legs to be a difference maker more often.

Which veteran has been good? Jefferson has the odd big game, Jeffcoat has been mostly injured, Rose is basically being hidden at field corner and still burned 1-2 times a game. I think we are in a heap of trouble with injuries on both sides of the ball and I don't really see them working guys in to backfill, or even having guys in town. Grant looks like he's not going to be of much use for the rest of this season, we're down to the guys on the field for receivers. Time to bring some players in or we're going to have a hell of a time beating someone good in the West Final and then beating that Argo D (who just added another legit NFL pass rusher today) in the Grey Cup.

Don't really find those guys to be bad. I mean Parker is playing the boundary because Rose can't handle it. Would have been nice to spend that money on someone who can still play.

It's not, but we have Jeffcoat go down and the plan from there is to put a DT out to end for the rest of the game? Why are we dressing an import DE who can't even get a single rep in a game like this?

Thomas sure. Gauthier is the only guy we've put on the field who can tackle a running back in this half of the season. But I would like to see guys like Cole, Barrett, Cooper (christ we've been playing Sayles at end to no effect almost this entire game). We waste a lot of roster spots. Yeah special teams are important, but if your D is giving up 6 TD drives in a game we might need some adjustment in personnel.

That play is so odd in our scheme, is Bighill blitzing or covering, no pressure and the ball goes over his head to a wide open back. Net effect is Bighill did nothing productive and first down for the opponent.

That's being kind. He's down at the LOS lots and not making the plays. If we have two backers on the field he's playing WIL now. He's either really injured or done.
