yeah that's true. We got to him last year though, Muamba made him cry with those forced fumbles and hits when he was scrambling. I still remember Muamba corking Burris a good one with a hard hit that he didn't like, and he got up in Muamba's face and you could tell he was crying about Muamba hitting him too hard. It's too bad Burris has that kind of personality, it's one of the reasons I can't stand him and don't want him on my team. I know he's got the tools to be a great one, but he's also a massive whiner who folds his tent and puts his toys away if he decides he doesn't want to play anymore.

Yeah Hamilton's got crappy receivers. We should definitely double-team Giguere all night. And no Rod Black, that doesn't mean what you think it means.

That play where Buck was intercepted was a classic example. Buck had locked onto his receiver, and even with a DB waving his arms in his face, Buck still tried to make the throw. He couldn't just pull the ball down and run, or take a sack, he tried to thread the needle through the waving arms because he couldn't process what was going on. I'm a big fan of Buck's, but even I can see the signs that he isn't 100% in the head anymore.

I watched a bit of the last night's game again this morning, specifically paying attention to AC, and something was definitely bothering AC, and it wasn't just our defence. He was pissed off almost from the first series, and kept looking at the bench and raising his hands in frustration. This happened almost every time they failed to convert on second down. I know our defence was great, but it was almost like Calvillo and his OC were feuding before the game even started, and AC already knew in advance that their game plan was ****.

Yeah Pierce to Pierce! That would be awesome! Hank Burris is a lot like Glenn, you get to him early and hit him a few times, and he goes into his cry-baby mode and his game goes to pieces. If he gets into a rhythm though he's deadly. One of the best. I hope Edmonton somehow lays some hurt on him this week. Their offence is atrocious, but at least the defence should show something, I hope.

All right. Wonder how banged up Edwards is. It would be nice to have the flexibility to have a Doug Pierce able to sub in when/if a receiver goes down during the game. That being said, Kohlert has proven to be a reliable target, especially against Montreal for some reason.

I was watching the comedy of errors in the first quarter. This team still makes way too many mistakes. Will Ford just completely whiffs on a block, Hebert just walks around him, and nails Buck, right before he's about to find a wide open Jade Etienne. So we have to kick a FG. Palardy whiffs on the FG. Just too many mistakes.

yeah hope he isn't hurt too bad and can play next week. We need him on the D-Line to make old Hank cry next week. Did anyone else see that post-game interview with Calvillo? He totally through Hawkins and Miller under the bus. Couldn't believe it!

How do they get Devine, Jennings and Whitaker into the line-up?

There were a lot of things to like about the game last week. The biggest thing for me was how the Bombers went down by 14 but came back and even lead the game for awhile. In 2012 going down by 14 was a death sentence, it was just all downhill from there. I remember that Edmonton game last year where we were down almost immediately and the slide just kept going - I think at one point we were down by like 35-0 or something. That didn't happen last week, though it could have easily happened. I am liking the fight this year. I hope it keeps up. These guys don't seem to like losing very much, unlike our guys last year, who always found time to yuck it up on the sidelines even when we were getting creamed.
