Sadly it does. Was really proud of him coming back out Osh style, shorts and a long sleeve. Screw the sweats and hoodies all his American teammates had on.

He pulled up lame on a kick cover in the second quarter, hobbled himself most of the way to the sidelines before a couple of teammates came and carried him to the trainer table. Lower leg/ ankle injury, returned after the half in streets with a significant limp. Seeing him go out on short yardage late in the game. I think we owe him one on offence for all he does, much like the Mike Miller one last night.

At this point I don’t care who we play in the WF. Our defence has gotten so much better, pieces found that lock down the back field. Anyone that whined as about Waletrs not signing a big name NFL returnee or not doing enough before trade line can GF Themselves. Knew who he wanted/needed and got them, knew who was already here and just needed time. Parker has rounded in to a great player and Ford? WOW, talk about a debut. Hope that Noah Hallet can finally get healthy over the off season but his third injury this year is not looking good. Looked like Brown regressed some, could also be because there was no real pressure or need to do anything as the game was already over. Two possessions for ZC was all we needed to crush the spirits of the Lions and then the Defense went on to crush them physically. BA has taught those boys how to hit hard and lower them boom. I don’t think Lucky comes to the WF again looking to support his Boyz like last year. “Defense wins Chanpionships” and despite some moments early in the season they are currently fielding a Defense that dominates any team in this league.

Looked back at last year and the Arkells were announced November 21st for the December 12th game. I wouldn't call this year exceedingly late, maybe just Dan Clark getting to his blockiing assignment late...

Bring Dobson in as a TE for pass pro and you don't even need a running game. We'd put up Rourke like numbers...

I don't expect CD or JOD back in Sask next year, however I don't think they get canned until after the Grey Cup. If they weren't the host team likely relieved of duties on Sunday but the team likely needs them in town for Grey Cup week. Would really be a shitty position to be in but those two totally deserve the long drawn out process.

Yes, the Riders suck and it feels great to watch them loose but let’s remember that if we want a successful league for the Bombers to continue to dominate we need them to be at least mediocre and to turn a profit and help support the rest of the league with revenue sharing. Sending them back to telethon days is not something the league can stand, there are big financial issues with the privately owned teams and 2 of the community owned teams are sliding fast. As much as I hate the Riders, I want to take my (future) grandchildren to Banjo Bowls in the future and teach them the ways of Rider suckdom.

Was swamped at work today, got home and wife asked “did you hear about Fajardo?” No. “The little ***** is whining to everyone that he got benched, not sure he’ll ever play for the Criders again”. I guess that’s a career…
