Bombers @ Argos: Depth Chart
Yeah ... but we'd still have Ray to throw for some of the yards we lose from JWJ's absence. I get your point, but it isn't the same.

Bombers @ Argos: Depth Chart
That's a split of games that I feel like we should've had two wins from. We killed ourselves with penalties and turnovers in both games. Our D has played well (other than killing us by extending drives with flags), but I don't think that they're so good that it explains away the Bombers' poor numbers on offence. They were out-gained 572 to 303 yards. Given that both punters performed about the same, that's a bit of a curb-stomp. If Dressler hadn't been there it'd have been ugly. Thought that the Bomber O-Line was solid and had a good day. Laing and Co. were pretty silent against them although they did the job vs the run. 3 Passes batted down at the line (one intercepted for a long runback). That's well scouted by your D. Rico Murray could've gone to ground with Dressler any number of ways and he picks German Suplex... As far as I'm concerned, 1 game suspension son. Have a word with yourself. Before the game if you'd told me that Medlock would be on our 40 with no time left and a chance to kick for the win I may have stayed home. Weird game. Our two missed converts would've turned the FG attempt into a tie (if made)... You missed 2, we missed one and If Medlock had just hammered it for a single it would've been OT. Bloody hell... only in the CFL do you see that last play. Missed you J5V. Another time. Hope you didn't elect to visit because of the security issues in my section. At this point I'd rather the Esks cross over to face the REDBLACKS (presuming we can hold 1st)... Don't care to see the melonheads in my section again. James Wilder Jr is beastly. I wonder what could have been if we hadn't gone with Whittaker for as long as we did. Good luck the rest of the way. Hopefully see you in Ottawa.

Bombers @ Argos: Dressler Return? + Lapo Must Call Deep Balls To Non-Lankfords Edition
Clean shaven these days. Had to get my hair cut up to my shoulders too. Colleagues said I was looking too biker-y. But yeah, I'll likely have a double blue scarf.

I'm hoping not to give away a solid effort via turnovers and penalties this time.

Sounds good to me. I'm behind the south sticks in 115. I sometimes go out the south exit with the smokers at halftime.

Wilder is practising. Looks like a weekend return for him. Was it J5V who was going to meet me for a beer?

Who should I get on my jersey?
Not that sort of playing. No, the garage. It has the bike, beerfridge, bowflex, couch, flatscreen, ps3 and various Argo and comic book memorabilia... Oh yeah, and various tools, snow clearing and lawn maintenance stuff. On a not unrelated note, I recommend four poster beds.

Around the League - Regular Season Discussion (Redux)
And Ottawa is poor vs the West and BC is good vs the East... I think I have to take the Leos...

I'm stuck on a pick for the BC at Ottawa game. Both need the win. I rate BC higher but not so much as to negate a home field advantage. Thoughts? Who and why?

Who should I get on my jersey?
Can't go wrong with an all-time great. Wore my O'Shea and Clemmons jerseys enough that I had to retire them before they faded out. They adorn my playroom now.

Clicked on this thread hoping it'd be about Dirk Gently or Zaphod...

CFL Toss Up of the Week: Regina at Toronto
I'm easy to find. South endzone, looking past the left post, name on jersey. I think we win this week... but we'll find a way to make it look sketchy.

Not such a mystery. They're a veteran group and each have taken their knocks and missed series/quarters/games.

Passport aside...
Although I'd rather have Harris as a teammate or to root for as a fan, I have to confess how frustrating it was to see the Argos tackle Chuckbob for a loss of yards so many times... and see the play end up as a gain of 7.

Was going to make this point. With Osh, it was always Fit In or F Off.

Bombers in best Uniform contest
If football unis were more like soccer kits, that would be an epic crest... on a football uni (as beautiful as it is) it doesn't "read" well.

Bad idea, imo. We'd kill each other... the final bluto would be drunk off his arse drinking from other-bluto skull mugs.

Not making this too hard on me today, are you Atomic? Must've missed me.

Bombers in best Uniform contest
Although I'm fond of our "A" shield logo, I don't think it's a prize winner. If the Cats didn't have the wrong colour in their logo, I'd have them as a hands-down winner... I guess I'd take the Stumps as the best of the rest.
