My understanding is it only goes back to consumers if the province they live in doesn't have a carbon pricing plan in place Yes, there are tree planting grants available that you can apply for. I just think there should be publicly funded tree nurseries, similar to the way the PFRA program worked

Call me cynical if you like, but why is the money being rebated and/or sent back to the provinces? Maybe someone who lives in a province that is meeting the federal requirements, could provide some information about their initiatives? Taxes should be used to provide services - in this case, the service of combatting climate change In this case, tree planting programs would be a good start. It currently costs around $50 to purchase a quality sapling from a nursery Not many people are going to plant a significant number of trees with their own money

Take in a couple billion in carbon tax revenue, earn some interest on it, then return it to the tax payer.

LOCKED. There is already ample discussion on this topic. Let's keep it respectful here, even when CFL people don't.

BACK 2 BACK CHAMPS at Argos GDT
His knees are just barely off the turf, and the ball is clearly below his knees. It could be that it never touched the ground, but the odds are more likely that it did. And I guess the second question is: did Banks wrestle ball out after Houston was down?
-
BACK 2 BACK CHAMPS at Argos GDT
Ok, fair enough. The ball might touch the ground there (yes, I meant 1:05) but it's not conclusive. But keep watching at that point, you can see Banks grab it from between his knees, and it sure appears to touch the ground.

BACK 2 BACK CHAMPS at Argos GDT
The spot on third down was an incorrect call So was the touchdown. The angle where you see Houston from behind, you can see the ball touch the ground, right before his jersey covers the sight angle.

BACK 2 BACK CHAMPS at Argos GDT
Yeah, there is no available body part, to keep the ball off the ground, Houston is lying on his side.

Buck Pierce - - Strategy & Philosophy
A consistent deep threat forces a D to commit more players to downfield coverage. Net result is fewer guys applying pressure up front.

BACK 2 BACK CHAMPS at Argos GDT
The ball is on the turf underneath Houston, before Banks takes it away.

BACK 2 BACK CHAMPS at Argos GDT
It was either a pick or an incomplete pass. It's impossible for that ball to be a TD. There is no argument.

Odds and Sods - Game 4 - Defending CFL Champion Blue Bombers vs Toronto Argos
TOP was almost even. The D was on the sidelines for quite a while, before that last drive. MBT, for whatever reason, plays like that against the Bombers But even so, without that ridiculous TD call, the game is not even close.

Odds and Sods - Game 4 - Defending CFL Champion Blue Bombers vs Toronto Argos
Oh I agree. But at the same time, he engineers some freakishly good drives, especially the TD at the end.

Odds and Sods - Game 4 - Defending CFL Champion Blue Bombers vs Toronto Argos
MBT has always done well, moving ball against our D. He seems to zip it all over the place, then next he'll struggle again.
