Hey boys...if you don't mind drinking a cheaper blend...Label 5 is on clearance for $20.80 @ MLCC right now. It's a decent Scotch, not great but good.

pretty sure that's just around the other side of the lake from me here in Ontario... yeah I am pretty sure it's an Ontario one. Reasonable price for some pretty darn good whiskey - that's what I like most about it,

Bombers interested in Romby Bryant?
I sit here amazed at the outrage...did some of you not watch the games LAST SEASON?

Bombers interested in Romby Bryant?
I've had many good steaks at the Keg. If they serve me one that's over done, does that immediately make them a bad restaurant? If the meat has been sitting there too long and they still serve it, I'd say yes, it does make them a bad restaurant. Maybe I acquired a taste for overdone steak that night...

We call it 'wheat wine' round these parts. On a similar note, you used to be able to get used barrels from Seagram's up in Gimli. Let water sit in there for a few weeks and you'd have pretty rad stuff.

It really should be neat. My trick when I started was to breath in before I took a sip and breath out after but I'm at the point where I am so used it I'll really savour it. I like brandy neat but not scotch.

IMO... Best single malt: Dalwinnie or Glenlivet Best blend: Grant's Ale cask or Sherry cask finish

Scotch needs to be drunk on the rocks, that's rule number one. If you guys need help with a fifth of twelve year...do send it my way. Trick is to let it sit with ice for a few minutes, then sip it slowly. Once you 'acquire' the taste you won't look back.

Washington Redskins Urged to Change Team Name
Scholars of the social sciences have long debated why Upper and Lower Canada were labelled as they were when lower was actually upper and upper was actually lower. Scholars of the physical sciences have since determined that simply no one knew where the hell they were.

[Merged] 2014 Predictions / Standing Forecast
Calgary - they'll be good again. Even with questions at QB, they've got Cornish and a great OL. BC - KG was a good pickup, OL should be ok with his quick release, OL could also benefit from dominant imports Saskatchewan - Durant and the OL are solid, question marks at key positions (no, good RBs are not a dime a dozen) Winnipeg - A team on the rise, like the new attitude we're seeing, admit that I'm being overly optimistic Edmonton - I still have visions of Reilly getting killed last season, no reason to believe that will change

Not any Catholic who knows a thing about their religion. Or are you confusing Catholics with Christians? Here's the thing, the church absorbed all the pagan holidays because it was easier to convert the heathens if they could say "hey look! all our holidays are the same as yours!" Halloween is All Hallows eve, ie. the night before all saints day. No one with a brain has a problem with the dressing up aspect because it's a harmless throw back to the pagan origins of the holiday. That's a bit insulting to say one has no brain because they don't share the same belief as you do. No need to be narrow minded! I can also say that the extreme religious folks also hate on the commercialization of Christmas with Santa (Santa isn't suppose to be wearing red and white!) and Easter should not be about Bunnies lol! My favourite is people who have a problem with XMAS. The X actually represents the Greek symbol for Christ.

Christmas is on Dec. 25 because it was put there to counter a pagan holiday. Historical records indicate that Christ was probably born in summer. So much for all the carols about a cold stable.

are the most out of touch people on the planet. They really don't seem to know anything other than it's not fair that some people have more than they do so **** those people. "The problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other peoples money" Baroness Thatcher. Disagree. No one gets rich without other people working for them. Who's benefiting more: an employee at Microsoft or Bill Gates? AND... who took the risk? True. There are always a variety perspectives. But I find that mostly the same one is presented on here. Just thought I'd bring in a different one. If you look back to the industrial revolution...those business men took risks too. Did that give them the right to shamelessly exploit workers? To exploit children in coal mines and factories? To amass ridiculous fortunes until World War One brought income tax? All of that was their right, and no one questioned it. Today, both sides should be questioned, business and union.
