2024/2025 CFL (non-Bomber) Off-Season Thread
With the exception of a couple of games where Randolph was starting at guard, they were starting 6 Canadians on Offense (3 OL, 2 Rec, 1 RB) Ford in the secondary, Kramdi at LB That's 8 Canadians without even using the nationalized American rule Thomas and Schmeckel could easily have been used as rotational pieces only, with an American being Lawson's primary replacement I'd never claim to be an expert, but that approach would sure make sense to me

111th Grey Cup- Argos vs Bombers GDT
They did not give themselves the best possible chance in the trenches. Randolph was good at guard and should have been starting. I'm not even going to get in to the DL I was hoping a loss wouldn't happen, but I was not surprised when it did. Football basics were not appropriately addressed, with better options available.

111th Grey Cup- Argos vs Bombers GDT
Can it not just be said - that the truth is somewhere in the middle of those 2 points of view? Surely no actually believes that it's 100% one way or the other?

The positivity thread (don’t look back in anger)
That could work. But they'll need to seriously consider another American on the OL.

111th Grey Cup- Argos vs Bombers GDT
Absolutely correct. Dinwiddie is very good at what he does, and I have no problem admitting it

The Argos could very easily be in Winnipeg, next November.

Which was absolutely the correct assessment, they can't.

111th Grey Cup- Argos vs Bombers GDT
I hate saying this, but I was not surprised. Problem #1 was the over match in the trenches. Neuf & Kola vs. Ceresna - was going to end badly.

The negated blocked punt and the fumbled punt. That's the game. Right there.

GREY CUP Thread
I'd take a hard look at 3 Americans on the OL.

Who's Going to The Grey Cup?
Wouldn't recommend any of that if you're driving through the Q'apelle and up to Lloyd

2024 CFL Awards night
Not so much from hard hits either. More stripping the ball while a receiver was running with it and not securing properly.

2024 CFL Awards night
Watching those highlights - that's terrible ball security in that game by the Als. One less fumble & the Als are probably in BC. The Bombers need to contain Grant and protect the football. The Argos will get pressure and they'll be looking to strip the ball.
