Greg "The" Peach Signs with Bombers, Freddie Harris Released
Getting Goltz to be more accurate is something that can be coached in practice. I'm thinking that they don't have the patience for it right now. The sense of urgency is still there with the coaches, even though it really shouldn't be anymore. He's been here for 3 years and his accuracy hasn't improved at all... how long are they supposed to wait? We all know how much game experience he has in those 3 years. Not much. It's not time to give up on him just yet.

Chris Williams
The ironic thing about how the situation is being played out is that Hamilton's appeal won't likely be as expedited as the initial ruling, and according to The SP, may drag on past February when Williams would have become a free agent anyways had he just played out the last year of the contract. http://scratchingpost.thespec.com/2013/08/another-twist-in-chris-williams-saga-and-what-it-means.html

Doesn't hurt for Walters to pick up the phone and see if he'd listen. Don't know if you don't try.

If you contend it in the surpeme court, possibly.

I'm not sure how they can still be undecided on QB after the second straight day that Goltz got the starter's reps.

Litecoin/Bitcoin
I bought a small share of LTC recently. Just wondered if anyone else has any and what they think the short/long term viability is.

Litecoin/Bitcoin
Anyone here dabble in LTC or BTC? Worthy of some discussion with anyone?

No surprise there with the new additions.

Mike Sims-Walker
For those in the know, what was MSW's last injury before being unemployed last season?
-
Brody McKnight
One would have to think that Palardy's as good as gone now.

Boltus and two receivers
Change for the sake of making change. The entire offensive philosophy needs to be redeveloped here before a couple of new receivers are going to make any valuable difference to this team's success, short or long term.

Firing of the week ...
Giving Burke more responsibility is not a good idea.
-
Does Burke Last the Year?
Firing Burke is just a foregone conclusion. Burke is here in body only, his mind and soul left weeks ago.

Potential Experienced Coaching Candidates
The least of the evils is Higgins. I'd pass on another defensive minded boss.

Bomber Depth Chart for TiCats
I’m intrigued to see what Jade can do back on the outside now that he has had some success with catching the ball. I hope that they can put him in a position that compliments his possession-type abilities.

Oh it can, and maybe will.

Oh man, I remember going up to Arash Madani at that party and asking him why he hated the Bombers so much. His response?? "I just write whatever people are going to get worked up about". Then a friend of mine totally got cock blocked Damon Allen. That is all. For $50, it was a great party. Should be crazy at Regina this year. Beer wise, I'm far from a beer snob. But... I just cannot understand how anyone can drink the crap that is Bud Lite Lime, etc. Usually I'll drink Keiths, Sleemans Honey Brown, or St James Pale Ale (aww Winnipeg). You could still branch out a little from your tatstes if you wanted, and still not be considered a snob if that's what your worried about...

This is a little more like it. A lot of people don’t know it, but we actually have a great selection of widely respected breweries in our great nation, of which brew some of the best beers I have tried. I’m not a fan of the common, commercialized beers mainly because of its production in such high volumes, which means less attention to the strict fermentation process and how/when different ingredients are added. Smaller more refined breweries like Vancouver Island, Howe Sound Brewing and Central City have produced some of the best craft beers that I have had. Howe Sound recently came out with Loose Cannon which is a dark lager. I am usually not a fan of dark beers, but this one has a hint of chocolate flavour and has a cleaner taste than any other dark lager I have had. Howe also has the Devil’s Elbow, which is a great tasting IPA, with a very specific dry-hopping process that is done post fermentation. Vancouver Island Brewery makes a nice honey ale called High Trail (used to be called Spyhopper HB). Less hops than I usually like, but it’s harder to tell because of the blend. And if you more brave (and are lucky enough to get your hands on it), VI also comes out with a limited release winter brew called Hermannator, a rich malt, almost caramel like blend brewed at 9.5%. Goes excellent with a nice New York strip. Central City is generally most known for its Red Racer line of craft beers. The Red Racer IPA has an incredible hops taste for an IPA. I am not too familiar with the rest of the line, but the ESB (Extra Special Bitter) seems to be intriguing to me. These are a few that I have been enjoying over the last little while usually with dinner. For an everyday type that you would usually see stocked in my fridge, I’m very partial, and biased to Half Pints. They make a great Amber Ale which is typically my favourite for most regular days because it's not so heavy and it goes well on it's own.
