  1. An aging olineman, a mediocre lb, one legit ni talent and three draft picks? I'm sure nearly every year every team does the same. haha lol.
  2. Chapman went unselected.
  3. Rotor over on Riderfans (who regularly talks with Eric Tillman) says Tillman thinks Waggoner has a chance to be a rookie starter at LB.
  4. I'd say that's pretty much a lock at this point. We have more than enough long haired dudes to fill our Canadian ratio on defense.
  5. He trains with Nick Moore in the offseason.
  6. It's nice to be fighting about who fits where instead of what player we should pick off the scrap heap to fill a role.
  7. I suggested this possibility a few weeks ago before the draft. It wasn't a popular opinion, but is one that makes even more sense to me now. A Waggoner/Newman safety spot makes more sense to me then them competing at WIL. I, also, think Leggett would make a great SAM. I agree that the Bomber should look at playing a NAT in the S position however I don't think Leggett would be a good SAM he is only 186 LBs, he might be a good DB or CB ? What does him being 186 pounds have to do with anything? Chip Cox is listed at 185 and he's one of the best linebackers in the league. I think you put too much weight on a guy's measurables.
  8. What did Rene Stephan ever do to you that you didn't feel it necessary to defend his honor?
  9. Waggoner, Hurl, Newman, Briggs, Morgan, Bucknor, Jones, Sherman ... that is a lot of talent on defense. I can't imagine we keep it all together and I doubt every single one of these guys meets the hype but it sure beats throwing Rene Bandaid and Neil McKinlay out there.
  10. I feel like to make up for this, the Bombers should hold a day of TC in each one of our backyards. Anything less and I riot.
  11. "We can't believe this player was still available with our pick, we had him rated as the best player in the draft the whole time" Things every GM everywhere says after a draft. I think it applies here too. Doing a sell job for public consumption. Obviously they like the guy enough to give up a first round pick but I'm not getting super pumped because they're blowing a ton of smoke up his ass right now. True - but they didn't say it.
  12. Would the Bombers potentially look at giving Waggoner reps at safety and moving Leggett to SAM?
  13. 6'1' 225 is small?
  14. Dominic Picard Sam Hurl Jamaal Westerman Sukh Chungh Addison Richards Garrett Waggoner has a club added so much Canadian talent in one offseason in recent memory?
  15. let's get him too. SIGN EVERYONE.
  16. He wasn't even a Canadian citizen during the draft last week, he didn't get his paperwork until a couple days ago,
  17. If the Bombers had him ahead of Ackie and Waud on their draft board then I'm on board with this.
  18. Other penis jokes.
  19. I'm going to guess top 9 on the Bombers board.
  20. This kid better be THAT good.
  21. wow we gave up our first rounder
  22. I'm sure it just means they're willing to spend a pretty reasonable pick. Or maybe they're YELLING their bids.
  23. It's a pretty quiet process, but we should know within a half hour.
  24. The more I see of Waggoner, the more interested I become. Clearly the footage he's got out there is him playing against a weaker level of competition and you can really see it based on the amount of plays he makes on poorly thrown balls but he still looks like he's got a great nose for the ball and great cover speed.
