NI talent?
There's no way Bilukidi is in the NFL next year. If he's not in the CFL, it's because he's not playing football.

Mike O'Shea on #QandView
The best possible comparison I can make for Mike O'Shea, if he's going to improve, is Ron Rivera in Carolina. And you can equate, in a way, Drew Willy to Cam Newton as well if you tie the pairs together (O'Shea/Willy & Rivera/Newton) Very similar results in their first two years and Rivera was critiqued for a lot of the same things that O'Shea has been. He did a lot of the things right that O'Shea does as well. Can O'Shea turn the corner similar to how Rivera did? Let's hope so.

Over 25 Canadians in NCAA Bowl Games
Akeel Lynch could be an interesting name if he is interested in the CFL. I don't think that article is right though, he's a junior not a senior.

84.5% (source: Research Institute of Research) of fans wouldn't even notice that the coordinators don't field questions if the media would stop making such a stink about it.

The situation alone is evidence. He didn't just decide to quit and coincidentally get scooped up by Edmonton as finders keepers.

What do we need?
If I'm Hall, my depth chart right now reads Leggett - SAM, Randle - CB, Waggoner - S In pencil.

I don't think this is as big of a deal as it once was.

Why is there such a great deal of hype around Allen? He's horrible. What am I missing here?

I wonder how many people are going to suggest we pick up any of these guys. Not a single guy off that list I would want.

Bombers sign Jace Daniels through 2017
Nice - good signing for a guy you can likely put down as our RT next year. Very underrated, we really dropped off when he got hurt.

Ottawa really needs to be careful with what they're doing here. Unless they plan to run their organization by only hiring coaches without contracts from here on out. They're really putting themselves out there to be shunned by the other franchises going forward.

Sure, why not. Whatever. WWE Network and Wrestlemania
That spot off the ladder through the other ladder was one of the most insane spots I've seen in a WWE ring in years. Really didn't understand the decimation of the Dudleys, that match probably could've been more competitive - even eliminating Harper would have made sense. Charlotte heel turn is in motion, didn't mind that match but I really can't enjoy seeing Ric Flair be that involved. Ambrose/Owens didn't really capture my attention, I was switching back and forth between that and the SNF game. Main event, as usual, was horrible. Where was Barrett? Ambrose? Usos? I don't usually enjoy ladder match finishes, they always seem so awkward. The one in the opener was perfect, though. Ended after a memorable spot instead of just a cluster**** of nonsense.

Tag titles match and Roman rampage were good. Liked seeing Dean win the IC.Also like the direction Charlotte is going. The opener.

Horrible PPV if you didn't watch the opener.

Scouting Bureau Rankings
Our Can-con isn't as bad as people think, so with that in mind I would consider burning one of our 3 top 20 picks on a future like Smith or St. John if they went to the NFL.

Walters' will pick an OL with their first pick. That's his practice since he assumed the GM position and it's not going to change now. I hope they will consider a DL on their next pick. In my opinion DL position jhas the shortest amount learnign curve to develop an impact/starter player. Although, I won't mind if they'll package any of there picks to move up and pick Onyemata. I doubt Onyemata is ever a CFL player.

Said this back in November ... this guy is somebody I'd love to have in Winnipeg. He's a very, very interesting player in my opinion. Glad to see Loffler has hopefully put his health issues behind him, hell of a player.

They profile too similarly for my liking ... not enough snaps for those two to go around.

Really depends on Bilukidi for me. If he's an option, Cappiciotti. If not, Laurent.

Chris Jones to Saskatchewan Roughriders confirmed
Yep I believe the good DR.CFL called this one a couple days ago before anyone in media was talking about it Indeed good call. I hate to say it, but i LOVE what's going on in Saskatchewan right now. I hate it... because it's in Sask... I'd love it if it were here... On another note... if Sask has dropped Craig Smith... we should try to get him ASAP... fire McManus or Goevia, doesn't really matter to me.... lol why? Craig Smith is horrible. The only team that has brought in worse talent than us import wise over the past number of years.

Should be a good management team to turn it around for them. That being said, even Hufnagel + Murphy didn't win the Grey Cup every year.

The BEER thread
We both were huge fans of that stuff! We have plans to get you guys a box of the good stuff once our new breweries start popping up since we didn't get a chance to hook up again with you guys and repay the favor. We actually went back to Ray's and tried a good half dozen of the beers you brought that very same night. Some unbelievable offerings in there ... Star Cheek, Maiden, Woodsman ... unbelievable stuff, I'm very jealous. Our selection is really dwindling out here, I've started straying from my typical preferences to try some other stuff. I'm going to Kenora this week so I'm going to check out their LCBO and see if I can bring anything unique back from there as well but man ... we need to step up. Working on trying to get someone I know out in Vancouver to ship me some stuff even. Finally blew by 200 different beers on Untapped though - so there's that. Best beer I had all weekend? Delirium Noel. Get it in that Christmas pack if you can - it's a good one.

Your post makes absolutely no sense at all. Dangerous precedent?? Coaches leave teams all the time for promotions. Its happened many times, only difference this time is the Esks crying about it. We let Ritchie Hall out of his contract to go to Edmonton to be the HC there. We let Kent Austin out of his contract right after we won the grey cup to go coach in the NCAA. Many examples where this has happened. Its pretty rare to see a HC with a contract leave for another team. Hall's move to Edmonton was from assistant to head coach. Austin was leaving the league. Neither of these are the situation Jones was in. Its considered a promotion because of the GM title and so that's why it was allowed, but employed head coaches moving to another team is actually pretty rare. Let me get this straight here. Going from Head Coach to VP of football operations/ General manager and HC is not a promotion in your books? Jones is accountable only to Rider President Craig Reynolds, he is in charge of everything. AND doubled his salary. In my mind I would say that qualifies as a promotion. Nowhere in his entire post does he say it's not a promotion. What I think he's saying (and what I'd agree with) is not that the Jones move should not be allowed, but that any moves like this in the future should at least be tied to some compensation going in the other direction. I understand your position but ask why is this any different than any of the other moves? Because of the effect it's having on the franchise you don't cheer for.
