  1. Or actually retire seeing Wikipedia says she is in her 70s.

Think she was the same. Everyone was just simply excited to have the Jets back. 10 years later, just having them back isn't enough.

The problem with trading this early is the extra 2 months of salary you need to take on. Especially if you are going to take on big salaries like Toews or Kane (max 50% retention without a 3rd team getting involved). Don't make rash decisions. The team built a decent buffer to hopefully weather this storm. They will fall in the standings, but as long as you can stay in playoff contention and make the push back up when everyone is back.

Seeing as these get sold on opensea which uses crypto as payment, we can only guess.... But chances are a fair amount.

Apparently these sold out within 12 hours. A fool and his money are soon parted.

Brings back the nightmare of when he was president. See a news item. Not sure if it is real or a parody Go look it up Turns out it is real Not sure if I should be surprised or not BTW: For anyone who was interested in buying one for the cheap prices of $99. You don't even get a card. You are buying a "digital card".

  8. I don't think excuses should be made for bad behaviour. It should be called out, and the fact "everyone is bad" shouldn't be an excuse. We also shouldn't lower our expectations because one party is worse or not criticize a party because they aren't "as bad". In the long term, a party who isn't subject to criticism and forced to answer questions on how they behave and their platform will regress and become something worse.
  9. I don't think it is a bad thing to aspire to have the leaders of our country to be more than simply "they are better than what is on the right". I would like to see leadership in any party that can inspire the population and build trust across historical party lines. A foolish dream? Perhaps. But this country is starting to become more and more divided. And something needs to be done to start uniting the population or we will cease to be a country.

  11. This is the 3rd post in the thread. This is your reply to that exact post. To you finally saying the same thing. Pertinent parts bolded. 6 pages of you arguing nonsense only to finally agree with what everyone has been saying from the start. Unfucking believable.
  12. That is why I quoted Lawlers numbers from his last year with the Bombers.
  13. Lawler in 2021 - 13 Games Played, 1024 yards - 6 TDs - Average of 78.7 yards per game - 0.46 TDs per game Schoen in 2022 - 18 Games Played, 1441 yards - 16 TDs - Average of 80.1 yards per game - 0.89 TDs per game --> In his rookie year. Lawler had yet to play a full season. Is Lawler the best receiver in the game?

With only one game left and a two point lead, congratulations to @Stickem for winning the Pick 'Ems this year! Picks this week need to be in by Sunday @ 5PM Standings below:
  18. All this tells me is this site has 9 people with a better record in our pickems than their best record (Cauz) and 33 people with a better record than their worst record (Nye).
  19. Cross posting this here if anyone is interested (Any accommodations you agree to, do so at your own risk. We have not vetted any poster for this)

  21. People park in assigned lots and tailgate in those. You can't really just have them all in one lot.
  22. There is already limited ways in and out of stadium. How can you guarantee unobstructed exits when you are expecting a sellout. Edit: I’ll also add the Bombers have hired consultants in the past to optimize the flows in and out. You can just change a small area without affecting the rest.
