Around The League: 2018 Offseason
Trust. If your boss fired you then a year later offered you another job would you trust him to never do it again?

Bombers would be a fit for him as they could win a Grey Cup. Montreal is Winnipeg in 2013.

I was. I think a lot were. Since then, he's been lied to & cut twice & I think that arrogant chip he was carrying has been knocked off his shoulder. I'd welcome him now.

Why would he go back where he was screwed? Toronto? Jim Popp was the one who screwed him. The Bombers are the only ones who respected him.

Henoc would be wise to remember what CFL team drafted him & we're the only team treated him really well when he played here.

Around The League: 2018 Offseason
Not enough reason to keep him on the roster. He can't actually play qb in a game situation. He would take up a developmental spot so he had to go.

2018 Winter Olympics
It took decades to get curling into the Olympics. How did this abomination make it so fast?

2018 Winter Olympics
Hard to get excited when everything is in the middle of the night in Canada. I don't care about the Olympics at all. Like you said, no NHL. Russians still competing. Absolutely brutal time zone. Meh. Is it Feb 26th yet?

For what he was paid he wasn't worth it.

Will Walters go all out at MLB?
Well, the title of this thread just proves we don't know what Walters thinks but implies somehow that we do & he listens. Hence the word Should instead if Will. We have zero influence over Walters here. Should he be all in? Yes. Will he be all in? Who knows?

Will Walters go all out at MLB?
I wish the title of this thread was SHOULD Walters Go All Out At MLB? Instead of Will. How the hell do we know what Walters will do?

Holy ****!! Unfortunately not surprised. Budget may be decent up here but they're a joke in the US. I used them last fall on a trip to Portland for US Thanksgiving. Their rental office is a 15 minute shuttle ride from the airport. All the others are in the Portland Airport. They wouldn't do an inspection with me when I picked up my car. Just, "Oh, don't worry about that scratch. Don't worry about that dent. We won't charge you." Like really? Then they didn't have a proper inspection form so I had to write all the damage down I saw on a piece of paper. My piece of scrap paper that I had. I used my phone to take a picture of every dent & scratch I found when I took the car. It was late evening, dark & raining. The parking lot I picked the car up at didn't have proper lighting so it was extremely dim. I had a hard time seeing any damage. I felt that I was being scammed. That they could accuse me of damaging the rental when the damage was already there. The Budget agent told me to hang on to the rental agreement with my damage report attached FOR A FEW MONTHS. A few months??? Last time I ever use them. Stay away from Budget in the US.

Receivers have nothing to do with the ability to block. Either you can or can't.

Blue Bomber Free Agent List
How can the Riders sign all these players & be under the cap? Today I read that now they're in the running to sign Adarius Bowman. How can they sign every expensive veteran player out there??

Blue Bomber Free Agent List
Yeah, we have replacements. Who needs Bond, right? #famouslastwords

Blue Bomber Free Agent List
How Colin can make a statement that Couture is somehow ready with virtually no playing time is hard to understand. All I know our OL sucked until Bond started & now it looks like management has made the decision to replace him. If we start an inferior player in his place & Nicholls gets injured then that is on Walters for not managing the salary cap properly.

It was a salary cap move, Especially trading Hughes for 2 fourth round picks in the next 2 CFL Drafts. Here are two quotes from yesterday's Calgary Herald. The first is Stamps GM John Hufnagel & the second from Charleston Hughes: "It was a tough day at the office - no question about it. Charleston has been a soldier for 10 years. He's a big part of our winning ways but it's the salary cap era that we're in & I have depth at the defensive end position. A very difficult decision & we just tried to make the right choice. What's the right choice? What's the wrong choice? We couldn't afford as many as we had & one had to go. It could have been one of the other two." "I knew that there were going to be decisions that were going to have to be made. That was a stress the whole year about cap & stuff. But based on how I play & what I bring to the table, I didn't think I was going to be that player to be traded."

Oh, I accept it but I don't have to like it.

Nassar will get plenty of that & more in prison. Better keep his back to the wall.

He's the guy who selects the players that miss the tackles.

The Riders remind me of ambulance chasers. They sign everyone they can. Why am I not surprised they made a deal for him.

Will Walters go all out at MLB?
We need a true middle linebacker. True middle linebacker. We sign someone or recruit a player who can be an actual MLB with impact then I'll believe. I have a hard time believing a Leopard will change his spots.

The League Office & Randy Ambrosie. He's not clueless like Jeff Orridge was. You don't think that when a CFL star is cut after one year he won't know? Then there's social media with guys like Justin Dunk & other media members posting stories that so & so has a tryout with the Bills, Dolphins, Jets or other NFL teams. It'd be hard for teams to hide it. They'll comply.

Same coordinator so why would things change, Booch?
