Bomber Moves 2018
If Henoc Muamba signs in Montreal "for the money" & the Als win 3 games this season then Muamba should be prepared for Kavis to renege on his contractual obligations to him by dumping his big salary next off season. Muamba will be treated like Kyries Hebert. No bonuses paid. Gonzo. So, he can sign for the money but be prepared to do another tour next off season. Man, this guy does not get it. For a little less, he has the chance to be a Grey Cup champ here. Oh well, he can do what he likes. Good luck with that if he signs in Montreal.

Around The League: 2018 Offseason
Not with Durant. I could see him wind up in Calgary. Then again, they see something in Buckley nobody else does. I have no idea what it is. The Stamps are one hit away at qb from having the first pick... errr ... sorry, forgot about Montreal & The Kavis Reed Show ... the SECOND pick in the CFL Draft next spring.

I think if coaches can leave then so should players. Simple as that.

Around The League: 2018 Offseason
So, Wilder gets criticized for wanting to better himself with an NFL tryout. Meanwhile, just TODAY the OC in Edmonton resigned to coach in the NFL. Coaches can leave but players can't. I think anyone who criticizes these players (like Jacquie) are totally blowing smoke. If coaches can walk out on their contractual responsibilities in March then players should be able to as well.

This may be where football is going. Especially for younger players to develop their skills.

But.. but... he got a new contract that pays him among the best in the league at his position so who cares? I think he did want to pursue NFL opportunities but couldn't.

Not the first athlete to threaten to walk away to get a new deal. Won't be the last.

Around The League: 2018 Offseason
Mykaussie killed Total CFL. Wanted members to pay to post. Well **** that. It's still around but it's nothing now. It was the original CFL discussion site & was huge. Not anymore. Every CFL site is virtually gone now. Fans stick close to home with their teams.

Around The League: 2018 Offseason
Yeah, it was Chaps. He was a Rider fan first but also a CFL fan. I'm still friends with him on facebook but I won't say his name. He is a great guy. I remember CRF as a poster over there before he owned the place. He seemed like a decent guy but things really changed when he took over.

If true, Roman just doesn't learn... More bricks between his eyes than we first thought.

Sure, it was all AC's fault...

I haven't posted on that site for over a decade. I think anyone from here or any other CFL fanbase who posts over there is just wasting their time.

It's like Trudeau was talking to someone else. Like a phantom or something.

Around The League: 2018 Offseason
It was a decent place when the original owner was running things. CRF came in, bought the site & down the hill it went.

His base will say he did great & we know it.

A disaster of a trip but progressives will still say a success. As will the left wing media down east.

East Coast Expansion ?
Friends. Not friend. You just twist **** around to suit whatever you want to think. You seem to know so much about the Maritimes, why don't you enlighten us for a change about CFL football down there?
-
East Coast Expansion ?
Funny how "market research" works so well in Toronto. We can only hope that the CFL is aware of this amazing tool.

The trouble is he'll be elected again & we all know it.

East Coast Expansion ?
There's history in Wpg & Calgary. In Halifax there's none. Haligonians & people from the Maritimes go to Boston hence the support for the Pats. My wife's friends used to live in Bridgewater, NS. Huge Pats fans. Don't knw if they'd support a CFL team because we never, ever discussed it. Love to see the CFL succeed but is there a groundswell of support for a team?
-
East Coast Expansion ?
Not a lot of young fans at the fan fest with Ambrosie. It was mostly fans in their 40's & up. I'm sure most Millennials are Pats fans. That Maritime market may be a lot tougher to crack than people think. Boston & New York aren't that far away. NFL loyalties are set after years of following teams south of the border. I'm sure a lot of potential fans are thinking the CFL ignored them for over half a century so why should they be excited to support a CFL team in Halifax now?

East Coast Expansion ?
Until they announce a new stadium it's a pipe dream.

Just like 1978 which turned out to be as good as the Charmin Go.
