I thought that of mine too. But, if you go into the ignore, you need to check off what you're ignoring - it doesn't do it automatically. Honestly, I lived with the comments for a long time, thinking my ignore didn't work either.

Seriously, I encourage you to use the ignore function in your profile. You don't even see the posts, unless someone quotes it.
