Bombers @ Argos: Dressler Return? + Lapo Must Call Deep Balls To Non-Lankfords Edition
Obligatory mention that fighting for extra yards unnecessarily also opens up receivers to more fumbles, as defenders try to rip the ball out. Exhibit A: T.J. Harris.

CFL Playoff tracker as of Week 17 standings
I don't think they will based on the tailspin B.C. is in right now... but I would absolutely love to see B.C. eke out a berth over the 'Riders.

Official Moe Out for Season
Obviously a big blow for our defense, but also hurts our special teams as well as he returned missed field goal attempts. If Adams hadn't been knocked out of the game earlier, he wouldn't have been the 'designated receiver' on the onside kick to begin with...
- Pyrrhic victory?

Kittens vs Bombers GDT
Well I would argue on offense the silver lining is that it seemed L'damian Washington had a good game. Big shoes to fill but hopefully he gets more playing time.

Stamps @ Awful Masolis / Redblacks @ Ridirts
Nothing goes with a rum and coke quite like a Kevin Glenn pick-6.

Lions @ Bombers - Right The Ship Edition
Agreed, add to that some of our receivers had some bad drops...

Ridirts @ Argos
C'mon Riders suck and lose to salvage the long weekend.

Fire Richie Hall !!!! DISGRACE COACH
I'm intrigued that nobody else has jumped on the fact that it was mentioned on the pre-game show that O'Shea didn't even tell his team to not underestimate the Ti-cats. He believes that as professionals, they should know better than to do that. Obviously they should've been told something, thankfully one game does not make a season. Regarding Hall - even if we won a Grey Cup, I'd still be getting rid of him in the off-season. If that happens it'll be because of our offense and special teams, not our defense.

3 stars + hh ate us raw edition
Well as terrible as the O-line played on the night, that fumble recovery by Chungh / lateral was pretty neat... I guess.

Bombers Add 6 To PR
Maybe he can take a knee for the Riders then?

Who should I get on my jersey?
I have two criteria for picking a player for jersey stitching: 1. They must be retired. 2. They must've won at least one Grey Cup with the Bombers. That way, you never get burned if the player gets traded/released, and you don't have to worry about them falling from grace. Also, gives you a chance to learn the history of some past Bomber greats... as for a personal recommendation, I would suggest Kenny Ploen.

Passport aside...
Harris for the simple fact that he is local, homegrown talent that plays his heart out for this team.

Who should I get on my jersey?
I have a blank jersey I plan on having stitched when we win a Grey Cup. Do you mean incarcerate? Incinerating is what they do with garbage and corpses.

Some Food For Thought
I'm just waiting for Jonesy to announce that they've re-signed Vince Young... they'll double their chances of winning with two former NFLers on their roster.

3 stars + HH deadmonton edition
HH - The Bombers coaching staff, for instilling a team-first selfless mentality throughout the team. The Bombers had 35 yards of penalties the entire game: Penalties: Offsides - Trent Corney (5 yards) No yards - Jesse Briggs (5 yards) No yards - Robert Porter (15 yards) Holding - Patrick Neufeld (10 yards) That's a darn clean football game.

Ridirts @ Rodblacks - An Upset From Ottawa Must Happen
Time for a Kevin Glenn patent-pending pick 6...

Carmicheal gone for remainder of the season
Hey, he could still attend our fine stadium as a fan. For anyone else who wants a bit of background on Hill (per wikipedia, I'm lazy); Hill signed with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League in May of 1988, where he became a dominant player. He was the team's starting cornerback for 5 seasons and was part of two Grey Cups championships. He received CFL All-Star honors in 1989 and 1990. He retired at the end of the 1992 season, with team records for most career interceptions (47), most interceptions in one game (5) and career blocked punts (8). In 1996, he was inducted into the Winnipeg Football Club Hall of Fame.

Who has the better team: Calgary or Winnipeg?
I know the old mantra is that defense wins championships, but I would argue with all of the recent rule changes to the game benefiting the offense, the CFL is becoming more and more a scoring league. That's not to say that it wasn't a scoring league before, just that in 2017 a team with our offensive talent has a much better chance of making some noise in the playoffs than they would have a few years ago than say, the 2011 Hamilton Ti-cats. Also, as much as our D has been criticized, they're still generating turnovers (particularly interceptions) so I don't think they're as bad as everyone makes them out to be.

Who has the better team: Calgary or Winnipeg?
We'll finish second, probably host Edmonton, and likely play Calgary in Calgary for the Western Final. It's the CFL though and all it takes is a 3-game win-streak to win the cup.

Stamps vs Hillbillies.. Who you pulling for?
I despise both of these teams, I hope for a 0-0 tie with Mitchell and Glenn suffering career ending injuries.

Als @ Argos: Matthew Schiltz Time In MTL Now?
Anyone able to get a radio stream of this game? TSN 1050 (Toronto) is playing the Leafs preseason game, and TSN 690 (Montreal) is playing Montreal Impact soccer. No wonder these franchises struggle to build/maintain a fan base...

Province takes $56M Loss in Stadium Deal
The Conservatives know how to spin their financial statements, by setting up a provision for the loss now, its a political win-win for them. They get to blame the NDP for the current loss provision whilst its still fresh in the minds of the public. If they do get an anchor tenant in subsequent years, they can then reverse some of the loss, resulting in a lower deficit for them (look what we did!). If things really get rosy, they'll be able to get an anchor tenant in the election year budget, thus further reducing their deficit for that year. A savvy individual would realize this as an "other item" on the income statement - but the general public will likely just be told the overall deficit (or surplus) for the year, in comparison with the deficits run by the NDP.

Bombers in best Uniform contest
Is a math skill testing question involved as well? That would also dilute the amount of Rider faithful eligible to vote.
