WAH WAH Carle's 5m and Stamkos' 7.5m is easily enough to re-sign Stamkos. Carle didn't play that much this year so he is easily replaced with a roster player.

Because opening up 5.5m of capspace and picking up 2 young players for a problem might be worth it. Drouin isn't the add toa dump, the dump is the add to make it worthwhile for the Bolts. It would also help them re-sign Stamkos if that is what they are trying to do.

They'd also be dumping a 5.5m per year contract for the next two year's. I know they wouldn't get drouin for those two alone but they are opening up 5.5m on the Bolts's capspace.

Aren't the rumors coming from the same source that said Buff wanted an eight year contract or no? I think if Trouba is moved and I don't think he will be, it will be because of his asking price and term. Chevy knows how to play hardball...just ask Kaner or Ladd. He also let Wheeler, Little, Bogosian, Tangradi and Postma file for salary arbitration one summer about 3 years ago. Trouba's agent has his work cut out for him.

Stu has an NTS not an NMC. Stu wouldn't be protected. What I find interesting is the fact that the unprotected ahve to be signed to the 2017-2018 season...Staf and MP are not... Everyone is saying Myers doesn't have an NMC so, he wold be left unprotected/traded.
