When does the bowman experiment end? (Bowman traded to Montreal)
Cuthbert: Manziel in the shotgun, here comes the rush. Manziel rolls to his right, he's looking downfield... Bowman is wide open! There's the throw... and... and... and... well, at least this time he managed to get both hands on it before he dropped it. Dunnigan: I'm not sure that the last four drops were all Adarius' fault. I'm betting that the fifth time's gotta be the charm.

Als About To Drop Willy & Matthews? Manziel Now An Al
Ok, I gotta ask, do you have any experience working on boards, cause from what you're suggesting, I'm thinking that you don't. And by boards, I don't mean the local parents board for little league, I'm talking about corporate or major not for profit or government.

How Happy Are You With Paul LaPolice
Of course, people never learn and grow right. We are who we are and never change? Your arguement is so bad it's almost not worth pointing that out. But here goes... Yes, let's look at Bellefeuille. Which CFL team is he the OC for again? Oh yea, no one. Not going to be one again, I'd wager because he's never been anything beyond mediocre in several attempts. But you know what, if we fired LaPolice, I'd bet he'd have no trouble whatsoever finding employment as an OC in this league. None at all, because he's clearly not the same guy he was when he was first with us. Is he the best OC in the league? I don't know but we've had one of the best offences in the league in the past little while. If people want to dump all over Hall because of our D, then people also have to give credit to LaPolice.

Seriously? He's been hired as many times as he has for a reason too.

Battle of Underperformers: Blue vs Double Blue in Doubleheader
And as we all know, the best way to make a name for yourself and insure more playing time is to deviate from the plan and show the coaches that you really don't need their opinion. Coaches love that!

Around the League: 2018 Season
It's not simply character. It has to do with safety of women. Anything with violence towards women will be a huge red flag. And the Riders get a pass because they need out-of-towners to augment the Saskatchewan gene-puddle and being that it's Regina, you get what you can get. Think of it as a public service by the CFL.

Around the League: 2018 Season
The CFL is an organization that markets itself as "family & women friendly". You have someone here charged with sexual assault. If they allow him to play, what does that say about them? What if, god forbid, something else was to happen with that player? While it might not be "fair" in some people's eyes, if you get charged with something like sexual assault, the organization is going to protect itself and it's reputation first and worry about an individual player last. Might not seem fair, but in this day and age, the last thing the league would want is to be seen to be "covering up" or uncaring. Sucks to be him, but if he clears his name, he might be welcome back. For reference I point you to that guy that Hamilton was going to hire last year. League rep comes first.

Why do they have to wait for a trial? You can cut a guy for any reason. This is a reason.

- Should Walters, Miller And The Board Of Directors Put Pressure On MOS To Fire Hall?
Sorry, but I never had Richie Hall kick my dog, so I just can't generate the same level of outrage that others here can. I'd lose no sleep if they replaced him, but I can also recognize then there are other issues in this last loss that might be more relevant that Hall's D. Not to worry though, there're lots of other games coming up so I'm sure that the "We hate Richie Hall and everyone who has ever known him" crowd will have plenty to rage about.- Should Walters, Miller And The Board Of Directors Put Pressure On MOS To Fire Hall?
Well, pretty hard to argue against such a well thought out and detailed position as that. I concede.- Should Walters, Miller And The Board Of Directors Put Pressure On MOS To Fire Hall?
You do realize that the other team is comprised of professionals that are paid to make plays, right. Even the best defense in the world (and that is certainly not a Richie Hall defense) gets scored on. BC managed 20 points in 60 minutes. This one was on the O. Not completely of course, but certainly the lion's share.- Should Walters, Miller And The Board Of Directors Put Pressure On MOS To Fire Hall?
Of course, if the O had scored one more touchdown, the the D did do enough. If you want to play the "what if" game, you have to allow for "what ifs" on both sides- Should Walters, Miller And The Board Of Directors Put Pressure On MOS To Fire Hall?
If we had know that the Lions were only going to score 20 in this game, there would have been few people, excluding you of course, who would have predicted a loss. This O should be expected to generate more than 20 points in a game, especially when it gets 17 in the first half. The D wasn't perfect but if the O plays only an average 2nd half, we win this easily.- Game Day Thread- Week Five: Winnipeg @ BC July 14, 2018
Break out the Prozac boys, it's going to be a long week.- Should Walters, Miller And The Board Of Directors Put Pressure On MOS To Fire Hall?
You cannot blame the defense on this one. They allowed 20 points despite all the turnovers. That should have been more than enough cushion for the O.- Should Walters, Miller And The Board Of Directors Put Pressure On MOS To Fire Hall?
You clearly don't understand the function of a board. They are not experts in the day to day stuff and have no business in "demanding" anything. They deal exclusively with the CEO and only the CEO. At the same time, if the CEO has confidence in the GM (which he does presumably) then he does not interfere. And if the GM has confidence in his HC then he doesn't interfere. So the only guy who will decide on the fate of Hall is O'Shea and O'Shea alone. That's how a professional organization works; everyone does their job and only their job. So by all means, continue to suggest that "the powers that be" need to get involved. They won't, because they all know better than that.- Saturday: Do Bombers Win Doubleheader?
