Yeah, he hasn't played a meaningful snap in what, three years...? Just a bizarre move by the Riders.

Washed up and/or criminal...? What a bizarre move. Then again, Jonesy isn't becoming known for his smarts as a GM.

Derel Walker
What about a PR spot or getting on with another team?
-
Derel Walker
Meh... Is there any actual report Walker won't stick in the NFL? I think the receiving corps is the least of the team's issues at the moment and I can't see Walker coming cheap should he return to the CFL. I would also expect Edmonton to be his preferred destination, if only from a familiarity standpoint. I'd also have to assume Reilly would be licking his chops at the idea of having Walker back in the depleted lineup. My opinion at the present time would be to pass.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT
Definitely agree on the first two. Nichols and Harris are playing on another level this season. Medlock is having a good season but he needs to be better through going forward to be in the team's MOP discussion, IMO. Hell, Nichols could very well be MOP of the league if he keeps up his current pace. And Harris could make history this season and easily end up the league's MOC. Boy, how nice is it to have these discussions about our team for a change...?

Great Piece on Jerrell Freeman
https://www.cfl.ca/2017/08/21/cfl-means-world-nfler/ Love it when a former CFLer looks back fondly on his time up here. Enjoy!

Hey Ripper
You're entitled to an opinion. Just make sure you can back it up intelligently and rationally with facts. "Matt Nichols is a ham & egger QB." That's an opinion not based on intelligent or rational thought. It's completely absurd to make such a claim when the facts fly in the face of it. "Chris Jones is a great GM and he's made so many smart and savvy decisions." See how absolutely dumb that sounds?

Roc Carmichael
According to Darrin Bauming, Fogg is practicing at HB with Alexander at CB (Walker banged up and Carmichael sitting). Could get a different look on that side of the secondary this Thursday.

GDT: EDMONTON @ WINNIPEG
This is a solid team and one of the most competitive and entertaining we've seen in a long while, and it doesn't take "rose coloured glasses" to make that observation. Have you been living under a rock the last year or so? Or perhaps it was under a bridge. All you've managed to do is come across as ignorant and out to lunch where this team and your understanding of football are concerned. I would suggest opening up a dictionary and looking up the words study, honest, and observation. You're using none of them correctly in your garbage commentary.

Flying High into Montréal: Bombers vs. Als
When was he ever a zero?

Roc Carmichael
Taking reps in practice doesn't mean much. Has Fogg ever played corner?
-
Hey Ripper
Uh, nobody said one game does that. Take a look at Nichols' stats and the team's record since he became the starting QB: 21 GP, nearly 6,000 passing yards, 31 TDs and 13 INTs. And a 16-5 record.

I can't even remember McAdoo with the Bombers. Then again, the 2013 season save the Banjo Bowl has been all but wiped from my memory banks. What a weird trade.

Stamps @Lions
This game so far:

Ottawa/Hamilton
And then refused to speak with the media post-game. What a brat. The Ti-Cats are a disaster.

Jennings looks terrible again. Although, the Lions themselves don't look good at all so far.
-
Roc Carmichael
Except he hasn't, though. Then why didn't you?
-
Roc Carmichael
Not if Carmichael plays at CB. I don't think Fogg plays the corner, anyway. So, no... I don't think he'd be a better option in that instance.
