Serious question. Isn’t the tendency of trying to rip the ball out rampant among all teams? Additionally, the torpedoing and “block” to stop the ball carrier, seem to be the rule rather than the exception. When did these trends become the way to play defence? What is the advantage to playing these trends, reduces injuries?
