Hey All, I just wanted to come on and say 'Go Bombers Go!'. I know the start of the year has been frustrating, and hopefully will bring about some change. O'Shea is stubborn but not stupid. He helped develop a team that has gotten to the 'Grey Cup' 4 years in a row. Needed player changes will come over the year. And its better to have these issues cleaned up through this one than next when we host the Grey Cup. I sincerely wish everyone a happy Canada Day, and enjoy the weekend. Drink a brew, spend time with the family, and cheer on our boys in blue!! Matt

Watched this guy his whole career at NDSU. He's good enough to get a legit shot as an American player. Easy 1st round pick. Mardner was 2nd overall in a great draft. Very comparable. Top receiver on a run heavy team at NDSU, weak QB in 2022 who got better in 2023 (QB likely to be CFL prospect too, Cam Miller still at NDSU). Guy that was used lots downfield, screens, intermediate, full route tree. I'd expect there'd be half the league or more bidding their 1st rounder.

Anybody else worried that the club will use injuries as an excuse and we'll see the same show in 2025 because I am.

Non contact injury would be really hard to blame on lack on training camp reps.

To be fair, we’ve lost 3 receivers and added 1 to our roster since then so to a certain degree, it’s self-inflicted. What happens if we have one guy go down this week? Ravi is up and then we have literally no backups left? I get it’s tough but we could be doing more.

My issue is after 3 games and watching a few other games, bombers after 3 weeks ain’t in the same league as anybody else. Maybe Hamilton. Edmonton could be 3 1. We could be what 1 and 2 and if being honest with the way we have played 0 and 3 looking at 0 and 4 don’t seem that wrong. In my opinion right now the bombers are the worst team in the league and the problem appears to be nobody who actually matters recognizes it or is willing to admit it. I don’t think it’s just O’Shea at this point.

Just so deflating looking at that roster. I know the injuries are significant and have made things difficult, but wow…. The staff, O’Shea in particular, don’t see any need to make changes to the starting lineup. The middle of our defense is a disaster and don’t get me started on rolling Kola out there again. Ugh. I’d be shocked if we win Saturday. Really hope I’m wrong.

If they were actively trying to bring in replacements to overcome the injuries, I might buy that excuse but they aren't doing that. There just doesn't seem to be a willingness to change anything, injuries or not.

Realistically though that's a couple week process. Like maybe they could have plopped Alston in there. If they sign someone I'd expect them to play the second week unless we literally didn't have the bodies to fill the roster.

why you running thru potholes??...lol....jk I actually probably train more...and harde now than when I played...which seems odd....but muscle is the longevity of life...and functional movement I guess from having 2 total knee reconstructions...8 operations on 1 knee...2 on other...Total shoulder dislocation...2 broken hands....Brokene fore arm...multipe hammy pulls...2 fingers that wont totaly straighten...laceration of rib cage....who knows how many concussions....and lost about 3/4" in height....Continual training enables me to function hahaha...Mama's don't let yer babies grow up to be Football players

I wouldn't be worried with overall fitness of most of these guys whether they got "reps" or not and certainly not Schoen, but your statement makes no sense to me. Say a receiver showed up 40 pounds overweight and they put him on the field. That guy is far more likely to have his knee or achilles blow up. Happens to us out of shape middle aged people all the time when we try to be athletic again.

"Well injuries" is going to be the first thing out of O'Shea's mouth after we end the season 5-13 and out of the playoffs.

I don’t believe any one in the organization was ready for this, and I think it’ll still take more to get past the shock and make some thing happen. I think we have to be worse than 2-4 at the 6 game point. However even at that it’ll be Really hard to bounce back with our mid schedule.

Just think tho....if we had no injuries...and looked like crap....we all know there would be no changes...roster juggling...anything to try and switch it up and find the right pieces.....and get things righted.....We got changes this yr from neccesity...not by choice...and sadly...and not to wish injury on any player...but the exact wrong players got hurt (FOX...Haba..Schoen...Lawler...Parker...Lawson...Garbutt) And guys like Biggie...BA...Wilson....Kolo got the defacto pass and annointed starting spots...regardless of what played out in camp, and you could argue likely better guys got walking papers...and to make things worse 2...3 of the guys mentioned are injured...dont ...didnt...or cant practice and participate in camp....but get dropped right in the lineup regardless....That cant sit well with younger...healthier guys bustin their ass in practice and thru camp to get bypassed...again and again. And that nonesense with BO...sitting him a lot of the game...not being the starter when he said he was totally ready...to prove a point...send a message?...who knows but was a complete laugher and joke....Biggie says he good to go...even when he not and he plays 90% snaps....that shitss gotta stop...same with Thomas eating up double the snaps...doing minimal in his impact...and guys like Fox..Admas..Woods just produce...cause havoc and make plays....more idiocy.....son enough...if not some already doing it....a lot of the team just gonna go thru the motions and quit on the supreme leader....Time for the 2 Boss's to step in and end this farce

My confusion is based on all the great playmakers at LB they disposed of quickly and why they would hold onto the one who's made only minor contributions on ST. Is Ayers destined to be a replacement for Bighill or Wilson, why is he the chosen one?

He made a couple ST tackles against BC (both in the 3rd quarter). He also had one earlier in the game wiped out by his own no yards penalty.

Agree they could bring more guys in but it would still be a **** lineup. Mitchell is still on the PR too. He can’t be a worse receiver than he was returner. Would be nice to see one of the guys that has played in the league before brought in. Tevin Jones, Godwin, hell even Lucky.

San Jose has buffalos 11th overall now, it’s possible that will be part of a deal for McGroarty. Columbus is apparently interested also. They have a few nice pieces. They also have laine who Ken Wiebe said that the talk around Vegas is laine WANTS to come back here makes me think blockbuster coming. We gonna send salary there way. Maybe it’s Rutger plus plus for laine retained a bit, draft pick or picks and D prospect mateychuk or jiricek even. maybe Iafallo and or schmidt or pionk or Iafallo (4million) and Stanley or Appleton maybe.
