    I can't tell if the reactions are disagreeing with your premise, or maybe missed the sarcasm. Because based on your posting history, I am assuming you agree with me that locals are absolutely more important, especially for marketing reasons. The "Harris/Demski local boys bring the Grey Cup home" storyline was everything.

    If you're somehow new to that podcast (and I'm not sure how that's possible...) they are very well done. Some better than others but they're all good. The Doug Brown one in season one is fantastic. The first Andrew Harris one is really good. Any of the Paddy Neufeld ones...

    totally agree with you here... this is Ferguson's complete write up on his projected 20th overall pick Justin Sambu: Every year I seem to draft Winnipeg an interior defensive lineman, while nobody has really laid claim to being ‘next’ in the Bombers rotation. Thanks Marshall... now I know exactly what kind of player Sambu is and why the Bombers would select him...

    Physically he’s the only back with that potential. No idea if he has the skill set head set etc for teams and blocking. It’d be phenomenal to have a guy who can do both jobs though as a ni. I’m pretty sure every team in the league is pinching pennies to find a way to sign him.
