Agree. The offence needs more consistent production to keep BC’s defense from just pinning their ears back the whole time. Can’t afford to have the O disappear for 3 quarters only to have the defence gassed in a tight fourth quarter. Even better would be a complete team effort and put these guys away 2022-style.

It's up to the offence to put points on the board, they can't come out and lay an egg like they did in the first matchup, the burden is on Zach's shoulders to put them in position to score points. In the old days they could rely on Medlock to win epic battles by scoring 4 or 5 FG's, no reason Castillo can't do the same if put within range.

Looked Tyjuan Garbut up and tuned into some of his hi-lites.....The guy certainly can move for a big man....always seemed to be around the ball and might just fit in here at a position we're currently lacking in....Hope we get a good look at him soon

I’ll see what I can dig up. I don’t recall a team getting two shut outs or being shut out twice in the same season. I would say fairly confidently that I wouldn’t imagine a team shutting out the same team twice in one season before. But I’ll do a dive into the history books and see what I can find (bet I’ll find more info in the NFL history books).

The Maritimes flirtation is some of the biggest nonsense going. Costs to do anything there are multiples more than any other market…building a stadium, travel etc. Nobody wants to own the team and the government there is so under resourced and devastated by a decade of austerity prior to this current government. They can’t front hundreds of millions if there’s no payoff. Teams in the four biggest markets and Edmonton are losing $5+ million a season. There is no value to the league forcing a team into that market and no value in continuing the neutral site games.

I will say that before the first shutout against Edmonton, BC had not registered a shutout since 1977, and Edmonton had not been shut out since 1976. And when the Bombers shut out BC in 2021, it was BC’s first time being shut out in over 50 years. So even one shut out a year seems pretty rare.

BC’s O is pretty pedestrian at times, but their D is legit. Probably the best in the league. The OL can’t go to sleep like last time.
