8 pointswhen your team is this good, and there are very few battles, and camp is mostly just a place to see what kind of back-ups you have in stock........ it doesn't necessarily make for the most exciting TC ever. But it's a good ******* problem to have.8 points -

4 pointsI noticed yesterday that 19 year old receiver Tyrell was working with the trainer on the field. He's getting closer to actually practice. Also think this is the first training camp I've seen where all the olinmen have participated. 4 pointsThis city has 1.6 million people & the worst facilities in North America. We have a multi billionaire who owns the Flames, Stamps, Warriors, Roughnecks & Hitmen. He refuses to spend any money on players or facilities. I've never seen such horrible ownership. It's certainly is terrible to see how things have turned out here in Calgary for once proud franchises like the Flames & Stamps. Edwards lives in Switzerland so he doesn't have to pay Canadian income tax. He refuses to lift a finger or spend a penny on anything. To me, Edwards is ******* scum.4 points- Canadian Politics

3 pointsI've read a few interviews with local delegates, they've said these normally friendly gatherings were conducted like hostile takeovers with a lot of animosity present in the room. It's akin to professional footballers showing up to play in an amateur league game, it's becoming a blood sport. God help keep American politicking out of Canada, it's time to take a top down view of our political system to help protect it and prevent it's erosion. We are different and we want to remain different, thanks.3 points- Bombers Rookie Camp/Training Camp/Pre-Season Thread

3 pointsOn CBC radio Saturday afternoon, they presented an in-depth report on how Take Back Alberta infiltrated, influenced and finally now dominates the Alberta Conservative party. It involved a form of gerrymandering delegate selections as well as opening polling places late and closing them early to ensure that the "right" delegates went to the conventions and promoted the desired policies. It was a chilling parallel to what the Qanon has done to the GOP in the US and doubtless there was tactical advise that flowed across the border. Somehow the leadership of the Alberta Cons have either been blissfully unconcerned or neutered while their party was suborned.3 points- Former Bombers in NFL (and spring leagues) news

2 pointsI've completely given up trying to figure out what the NFL wants when it comes to signing CFL/XFL/USFL players. Guys who deserve a chance, don't get one while guys who have done relatively little get picked up. I feel bad for the players who have earned it but at the same time, the NFL's loss is our gain.2 points- Religious Beliefs
2 pointsPeople can believe whatever they want to believe. Only thing that irks me is when people try to use it as a rationalization for something or try to push it on others. I will be honest and say my brother is an atheist and I am very much on the fence myself tbh. However, we both have never poked fun at someone for their religious beliefs and never will. 2 pointsSo.... I saw Fast X. Sigh. Here's the thing.... Generally speaking, I am a big fan of this franchise. My wife LOVES these movies... I will go to bat for Fast 4-6 as among my favourite action movies. 7 was the last DECENT one (relatively, to the rest of the franchise) and they just started getting epic-ly stupid. Fast 9 is one of the worst big-budget, tent pole films I have ever been witness to. I felt sad for everyone involved. So anyhow, I'd read the reviews for Fast X and just how truly awful it was..... And here's what I'll say: It's dumb.... You have to go beyond shutting off your brain. The list of things that make ZERO sense is a mile long. Having SAID THAT..... I have spent far worse time in a movie theatre. It's definitely a step up from 9, a bit of a return to "form" for the franchise. Jason Mamoa is having more fun in this movie than I've seen anyone have in a long time. There will be some weird comparisons made to Ledger's Joker, that Mamoa is going for the same vibe but doesn't have the pure evil gravitas that Ledger brought to his villain.... But I don't think that's a fair comparison. I feel like Diesel really learned something from his MCU work and is going for an Infinity Saga thing to wrap this series of movies. X was his Infinity War and the next one will be his Endgame. So I guess short story long, if you have enjoyed these movies in the past.... And you're willing to just "shut the brain off" for 2 hours, it's not the worst summer blockbuster. It's absolutely a step up from 9.2 points- Canadian Politics

That was quite a bit better than some of the preseason games of a few years ago. both teams looked organized. looked like stumps have a few new monster size D lineman. 2 pointsKongbo is what Kongbo is. The bigger issue competitively is when healthy BC can have 3 of Betts, Kongbo, Menard, Cherry, Hladik, Lokombo on the field at all times and stack their secondary and offense with more imports. But they still have to hope for a Dane Evans revival. All of those Canadians on D for BC are better players when they only need to play 30 snaps a game though.2 points- 2022/2023 Off-Season (League/Non-Bombers-specific News)

1 point....this season is a big goal of mine. Looking at my schedule when school starts back down here, the best time for me to come to Winnipeg is when we play at home versus Montreal on August 24th. Just in general if I can make this happen(Fingers crossed nothing comes up!) what are the things a first timer must do on gameday? Sites in the city itself? Best restaurants? Etc. 1 pointThe whole purpose for an elected government is for it to mediate between all the competing and dynamic interests of society to ensure domestic tranquillity and a balance that allows for a good quality of economic and social life. As soon as you institute laws like banning homicide and violence, for two small examples, you are, by definition, interfering. The degree and scope of government intervention is the part where argument comes.1 point- Bombers Rookie Camp/Training Camp/Pre-Season Thread
Bennett has been with the 2nd team with Cooper (before Cooper took Jeffcoat's spot). Bennett has a ton of energy. At the moment I'd guess he gets rostered for most of the games this season--special teams and rotational pass rush. Eli's been getting full second-team reps. He's missed the last ?two? days, but he's at practice. I didn't see him up close in '21...nothing I've seen makes me think he's out of shape.1 point- Bombers Rookie Camp/Training Camp/Pre-Season Thread

1 pointThis is ridiculous. You’ve been on this bandwagon forever and I really just don’t get it. Nobody’s asking anyone to be a football scout, the pass you keep giving guys for being lazy is crazy. It is not difficult to go to a training camp session and share what your eyes tell you. “Player A seems to be splitting reps in the slot and at wideout, whereas player B is only getting reps in the slot”, “Player C is returning kicks and working with the defensive secondary”, “Player D is taking reps at halfback and the SAM LB spot”, “Player E seems to be having lots of drops, whereas player F catches everything thrown his way”, “Player G looks to be struggling to win his 1 on 1 battles in the trenches”, “Player H has burned longtime starter Z in a few battles today” I’m not looking for an in-depth grading on how they perform in pass pro broken down with film to support their thoughts, I’m looking to see some consideration that they’re going there to REPORT, not play pattycake with their buddies on a sunny day.1 point - Canadian Politics
