    it is time..........
  2. The Blue Bombers have been the least-penalized team on specials over in each of the last three years. They were first in 2019 with 30 infractions on special teams; first in 2021 with 19 and first last season with just 14 – 20 fewer than the next lowest teams (Hamilton, Montreal and Saskatchewan were all at 34). Being the least penalized team does not surprise me but how few ST penalties we took last year is amazing. We could have doubled our penalties and still finished 1st with room to spare.

Taylor is one to get excited about. Not very fluid or technically sound, but just straight up unblockable getting underneath guys, around them and unwavering in pursuit. Kind of a perfect CFL rush end, Philip Hunt-esque.

Truly folks, blocking is easy and, in many ways, more respectful. I don't engage with that poster because I blocked them ages ago. Nothing to offer, nothing to contribute. So, rather than going back and forth, I just block them and only see their posts when they are quoted. It also allows the blocked poster to continue with whatever they want to post without someone, in this case me, responding to them all the time. They post in peace, I post in peace. Trolls love attention. You feed a troll and it will come back, again and again.

Man, it’s not a both sides issue. The Liberals and NDP have policy, weather you agree with it or not. (And furthermore neither of these parties is what I would consider “Left”) The cons federally have zero in the way of concrete policy. Literally nothing. It’s 100% rhetoric and vague fear-mongering. Without whatabouting or mentioning Joe Biden or Justin Trudeau, can anyone on here name one piece of actual legislative policy that anyone from the federal CPC has presented?

There are a number of posters in these threads that I would say post here in bad faith and a high percentage of posts are nothing but slinging veiled insults at other posters and "the other side". And before you go and assume it is "someone else". Take a long hard look in the mirror. If you aren't sure, PM me, and I'd be glad to tell you my opinion of where I see you on that spectrum. I see a lot of posts criticizing politicians for not actually articulating a platform anymore. So many parallels I see in the discussion here. I've long debated just shutting down any political discussions on this message board. I signed up for running a CFL / Bomber forum. Not politics. And would never ever get involved in trying to moderate a politics forum. The discussion (and I use the term discussion very loosely as that is not what takes place in the majority of posts in here) in the politics threads has deteriorated a lot over the years, and I unfortunately view it as a microcosm of what also appears to be happening at scale across our Country. I find that sad. I'm honestly tired and embarrassed by the discussions that generally take place in these threads, to the point where I open them, read one sentence, and move on. It isn't interesting. It isn't entertaining. It is the same predictable rehashed words over and over. Just my thoughts and opinion .... something for ya'll to think about if you want to be able to discuss these topics here.

Also worth noting for a guy that’s under 6’ is his wing span is 6’6”. Just 2 1/4” shy of jeffcoat. I tend to think a lot of hard measurables are over rated, short linemen can reap huge leverage advantages on both sides of the ball, but standing reach would be a great one to track for de’s. That and standing vert gives a much better gauge of a guys potential to defend passing lanes than height.

Looks like Sergio received a 30k bonus when he signed his new contract with Edmonton.
  14. How about no kicker? Just Lieggs for kickoffs and we don't kick a single FG or EP?
  15. Yeah he had a down year last year but we dont win the 2021 Grey Cup without him IMO. I would take him back in a heartbeat if the finances work.

Dixon looks versatile. Love seeing a lber who is effective blitzing. Taylor is an interesting potential blue chip book end prospect. The good: he had a monster two years and declared early for the nfl draft but went un picked and got no tc invites. 2021 he had 6.5 sacks 33 tackles 7.5 tfl a pass knock down and 8 hurries in 13 starts. In 2022 he had 42 tackles, 9.5 sacks 2 ff and 3 knock downs. He’s also a monster athlete. 22 reps at 225, 36” vert 9’4 broad jump he pulled his hammy running the 40 at his pro day, and still ran a blistering 4.63. His agent put out a video of him prepping for the pro day with alleged 40 times of 4.38 and 4.3 flat. I don’t buy it for a second but allegedly the video was big on tik tok or some thing. The old axiom for converting manual and electric times is +.26 seconds which would make a lot more sense him being in the mid to high 4.5s. Which is still pretty crazy. the catch and reason he didn’t get an nfl sniff? he rostered at 6’1 and 246 but at his pro day was 5’11 240.

I think the difference between them last year was a marginal coin flip in kicking. Iirc one started cold one finished cold. Pick ‘em to me. the point of having a Canadian is saving that di spot though. Burning a di and a roster spot on the three jobs is a tough pill. And the money if Sergio is still pricy. I wouldn’t run two roster spots and 200k+ cap space on the three roles. That was fast lol. I wonder if we don’t cut some rookies now. Can’t imagine we go into camp with like 6-7 rook legs, plus legs and Castillo.

I'm liking the look of J. Taylor on those clips.....Moves pretty fluid for a big man and I love how he pancaked a few of his prey, when he caught up with them and made the tackle....Definitely a guy to watch in tc

Looking at the roster I’m excited to see how a couple others pan out. Will Allen jr, a rookie db who got an nfl look after college career where he was a 3 year starter, blocked 5 kicks, had a record 26.1 yards per kick off return , with a couple tds and 17 pass knock downs. cam lawson was great in his reps last year can’t wait to see if he takes another step forward this year. Payton muljo looks like a good prospect at T him vs Richmond will be a great battle. And if Richmond can finally stay healthy. greg mccrae showed a lot of shiftiness speed and versatility. No soft spots in camp at rb it’s gonna be intense. tavaris Harrison and jaivon heiligh didn’t get any kind of shot last year but coming into camp and rookie camp with that experience is huge. agudosi is 29 now but flashed some intense brilliance last year. We are deep at wr but that huge frame is soo alluring Joe Beckett, a big body mlber who played some de and can pass rush well from multiple alignments is exciting. We haven’t developed a good imp lber in a while and it’s always nice to have tweeners up here. Than the elephants in the room. Literally in Dobson and Eli. If Eli comes back close to the level he left at I think he quickly takes a starting job. Dobson is gonna push the guards hard too. In his second year I expect to really see him start to click.

Putin, like Stalin, is known for being paranoid and surrounding himself with people who tell him only what he wants to hear. I think a large reason their military doesn't pull their weight is because it is hard to make strategic plans when the country is led by a madman that only hears embellished good news rather than bad news from his underlings. Stalin made the same errors. Executing, demoting or otherwise disabling anyone who attempting to tell him anything he didn't want to hear. I also wouldn't be surprised to know that Putin feels the need to micromanage every military move. They've been dreadful. I don't think it was Ukraine and maybe a false flag, but I'd be careful with that if I were Putin. He's gaining lots of enemies in the country and these repeated attacks in Russian territory may convince his foes that there is a lot of (violent) support to end him within the country. If it was a false flag, perhaps it is being setup for assassination attempts on Zalenskiy, though I'm sure that has been tried already.

Damn that sucks. Both those kids looked real good in limited play last year. Really wanted to see both develop. with the weather hitting plus 20 this week as long as it stays warm ish the beaches should be good by then. Love both those spots. off season rules still in effect imo. As long as we keep the rookie camp, tc and regular season threads clean. We are super close to that point which is fantastic.

  47. You are wildly in the wrong forum and thread...yikes. Your first question is weather dependent. Your second question (Bird's Hill) is also weather dependent. And your third question, yes there is AirBnB or VRBO for cottages in the East Beaches. Tons for rent.
