What the Bombers have done outside of winning is make going to games an event. They have a lot of activities and things for families, young adults, and everyone in between. What they have done pre-game lower the cost of concessions and beer has made it economically friends. I know was at the arena couple of weeks ago and got a hot dog and drink and it was $16 bucks. For that, I could have got a drink and 3 hot dogs at the stadium.

I think people forget that not too long ago we couldn't watch all the games. I'm only 36 and I remember having to listen to Bob call half the games each year while I was in my 20's. Black outs, limited coverage. It's so much better than it was.

The CFL is already sharing that information freely, just not live with a live stream. If anyone wants that info, it's available to them.

Aurora Borealis!? At this time of year, at this time of day, in this part of the country, localized entirely within your kitchen!?

the pre-game tailgate at the stadium is a lot of fun. Our pre-game usually starts at Stone Angel for GOOD beer, but we always end up at the tailgate area for at least a half hour before we head in to our seats. It really is a great time every time at the ol' barn (and the winning doesn't hurt, either...)

That’s a loser mentality in my opinion. There is no way I am changing the way I operate based on some potential advantage it might give a couple of leagues that won’t be around in two years. I am not capping our ceiling because it might raise their floor a bit.

Murat Ates asking Rick Bowness what he's looking for with these new lines: "More offence. Simple as that. Dubie and Kyle has looked good together. I’ve thought Vladdy would be a good fit with Mark and Wheels so we’ll have a look at that. Maybe Nik can help with Adam scoring, maybe they can help Nik get going, two big strong guys that hang on to pucks."

Israeli Unions Launch Workers Strike, Upping Pressure On Netanyahu TEL AVIV, Israel (AP) — Workers from a range of sectors in Israel launched a nationwide strike on Monday, threatening to paralyze the economy as they joined a surging protest movement against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s plan to overhaul the judiciary. Departing flights from the country’s main international airport were grounded, large mall chains and universities shut their doors, and Israel’s largest trade union group called for its 800,000 members — in health, transit, banking and other fields — to stop work. Local governments were expected to close the preschools they run and cut other services, and the main doctors union announced its members would also walk off the job. The growing resistance to Netanyahu’s plan came hours after tens of thousands of people burst into the streets around the country in a spontaneous show of anger at the prime minister’s decision to fire his defense minister after he called for a pause to the overhaul. Chanting “the country is on fire,” they lit bonfires on Tel Aviv’s main highway, closing the thoroughfare and many others throughout the country for hours.

CRAZIER AND CRAZIER...... QAnon now believes a body double replaced Senator John Fetterman Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA), still recovering from the effects of a stroke he suffered on the campaign trail last year, publicly announced last month that he was admitting himself to Walter Reed Hospital to be treated for severe depression. After more than a month of psychiatric treatment, Fetterman is preparing to be discharged and return to full-time work in the Senate. But far-right QAnon conspiracy theorists aren't buying it. According to VICE News on Monday, a bizarre theory spread across the internet over the weekend, fanned by a handful of influential extreme-right voices, that Fetterman has been replaced by a body double. "The entire basis of the conspiracy theory is the comparison of two photos of Fetterman that the conspiracists claim are not of the same person — even though both are very obviously both of the Pennsylvania senator," reported David Gilbert. "Body double conspiracies are a common trope in conspiracist circles: In recent years QAnon believers have claimed that President Joe Biden, Queen Elizabeth, and the Pope have been replaced by body doubles, all in an attempt to undermine the leaders’ credibility and boost the belief that the world is really run by a secret cabal of elites and the faceless 'deep state.'" https://www.alternet.org/qanon-body-double-john-fetterman/

I think it's more of a case of the pure football fan aging out. The NFL is also experiencing this. Thankfully the gameday atmosphere has made it a much more appealing outing for the younger crowds.

The interesting thing here is that the resistance to televising all the games was the fear/certainty that attendance would drop. Hasn't turned out that way at all.

I wouldn't credit Bibi with too many smarts, either. He id facing corruption charges (accepting bribes) but has refused to step down until the charges are resolved. He is also in bed with very hard-line Zionists who believe that Israel should be solely for Jews, and further, that absorbing all Palestinian property into Israel with the aim of expelling them is what God wants. When religion and politics enmesh, things always go badly.

So why wasn't Schiefs clean record a factor in his five-game suspension when he hit that Montreal player? Oh right that's because the player got hurt. If Morrissey was injured on the play and had to miss significant time, Lizotte might have gotten two games. The DOPS is such a joke especially when you have a career 4th line fighter George Parros as the head.

I find it hard to believe that any Canadian network with ratings of 250-500,000 cable viewers & the advertising revenues it brings in for 20 some weeks would not want the CFL on their network.

so after a weeklong delay I finally got to try a pizza hut melt I tried a pepperoni one, it's actually smaller than actual size, in fact I'm not even filled up now (it should really be a side or an appetizer) it was that light, but maybe that's a good thing which is saying alot because back when they still had the P'Zone it filled me up. It's a combination of crunchy and chewy, I'll definitely order one again (the chicken bacon ranch one looks good)

content isn't just about putting out good content. lol. I know that sounds wrong. But it's not. You start by putting out everything and anything and refine as you go. CFL puts out essentially nothing. On top of that they also stop other people from putting out solid CFL content. If you're not filming, you could miss a viral moment. Literally anything...and that can get people involved. It's not so much about the boring content, I agree that people who aren't hardcore won't jump at the chance...but they may come across it and see it in a way that we don't and take it from there. Dumb **** goes viral all the time, and people make careers and loads of $$ off that. If you're not putting out content you're not even in the stadium to try and play.

There is absolutely no way I would live stream the combine if I was the CFL. No chance I would give XFL/USFL/NFL scouts free and easy access to see the players measurables that we are hoping to recruit. For the price of zero they get to take a look at our best prospects and see how they stack up? No thanks.
