  1. Dan Clark for OC

Absolutely hilarious day watching the goings on in The Gap.... I can't wait to see what kind of mess they'll be next year. Heading the right way for an O-Fer season, and I love it...
  3. Riders are royally ******. And I’m here for it.

Maybe macadoodoo will return if Jarious Jackson takes over as oc in edm. Love it
  5. Looks like it's all but official....
  6. Beat me to it!

Ohhhh, Gappers. What internal hiring will be hailed as the one you wanted all along?
  8. Their OL and WR coordinators also basically accused JOD and CD of using them as a scapegoat to save their jobs.
  9. Something to consider besides having to live in Saskatchewan, is O’Day, and Dickenson are in their last year and it’s a good possibility that they won’t be back next year. Any OC has to think that if it doesn’t work out for them, the next regime is going to likely clean house. Just some food for thought.

I honestly just get a headache from the Gappers thinking any coach would consider a lateral move to coach that team and live in Regina. They think Costello is going to move over to coach their OL 😂

3 wins in 4 5 or 6 years is still easily dynasty material. I expect the 2023 bombers to be a marked improvement over the 2022 team as well. We have a growing offense with developing threats and lots of young guys starting to reach their potential.

"Hey Fajardo,I like your whining....you're cut!"
  16. CFL people are turning down having anything to do with the Riders as OC because of JOD keeping Dickenson & Craig Reynolds for not firing JOD. I mean, that organization is so screwed up. It's their own fault, though. Not cleaning house. No one wants anything to do with the Riders.

I’m going to guess the hockey fans around these parts are a little more avid and knowledgeable than the people who watch games in Dallas and Columbus. So Jets fans may be more aware of former player/coaches.
  18. Such a dumb decision to retain them.
  19. Dost thou speak ill of the flagship?
  20. I wish our whole offense was more effective in the playoffs. Ballsy is now on the "Sign Khari asap" train. Can't wait until Dicky has to try to take on the dual role of HC & OC when they can't hire someone. 😂

As she tests the water with her kooky cockamamie knuckle dragging drivel and pulls it back by saying more clarity is needed, just another reminder to DS you were not ‘duly elected’ to sit in the premier chair of Alberta nor has any legitimate percentage of Albertans given you or will give you any trust to do anything. Go. Away.

Depends who you ask: You must remember the GST cut and the cutting of transfers to the provinces. A friend in the environmental science field, has a long list of grievances against Harper.

That’s the difference between good and great and it’s called consistency.
  27. Other than a few games that got away from them, Benevides D really hung in there all season.

Agreed. The Liberals were unwilling to accept the NDP's demands and the NDP thought they had a shot at a minority government. Harper presented himself (falsely) as a moderate small-c conservative and fooled a lot of people.
  29. I figured Dyce would have kept Benevides. Guess not.

I suggest that there is far less difference between the Liberals and NDP than there is between the Reformers and old-line PCers. Moreover, both the Liberals and NDP have enough sense to compromise if the circumstances warrant- that's how we got Medicare and the Canada Pension plan, to name but two. The degree of fanaticism on the extreme right precludes any such beyond posturing some moderation for electoral purposes.

He's certainly going nowhere. We here who are posters aren't in personnel so we have no idea the contract status of kickers everywhere. I can assure you that there are better kickers than Liegghio out there. We watch them every week. Walters made it known yesterday that Liegs will have to work to keep his kicking position & that maybe doing all 3 jobs isn't the best idea for him or the team.
  32. 1 point
Okay, but still..... Who is out there that you'd wanna bring in to kick if you're gonna have Liegghio just do punts or just do punts and KOs...? Who's out there that's better?

Coaching staff looks solid. Now it comes down to the QB...
  34. On paper, things really looking up for the RBs. If they have a good FA and draft, things could turn around. Gonna be tough for anyone to pry Mauldin out of there now, I'd reckon...

Except that the GM is also a lame duck, so the new GM will start from scratch next year anyway. With no QB, and a shitty OL, the only OC they're going to get is a new candidate like their RB coach who has nothing to lose.
  38. Good for Mueller, he's smart enough not to step into a tire fire and ruin his reputation, eventually he may inherit the Stamps HC job once Dickenson moves upstairs to replace Huff.

I remember in the 70's there were a few scattered B.P. in Wpg. that disappeared shortly after they opened, the last one standing was on North Main in W. Kildonan and it wasn't doing well. I think Treliving probably bought the rights to the name in bankruptcy and rebuilt the franchise from scratch.

We are definitely not a two-party federal system. And, there are plenty of old small-C conservatives that vote Liberal but would never if they adopted more NDP policies. Eliminating the third party would push us towards the failed-state US system.
