Will the Jets trade Trouba?  Will they resign Scheif to an 8 year deal?  

Will Boston, as heavily rumoured, offer sheet Trouba?  What about the rumours of the Jets in a three way deal with Edmonton and Avs?

Krug got 5.25m per year for 4 years so how much does Trouba get?

I'm guessing they'll for sure keep Scheif, Ladd will probably go to Brooklyn (and apparently he's in town for Stuart's wedding) I am hoping Trouba stays, I will not be happy if he goes to cheaterland. I mean they spent 38 mil just to keep Buffy here for 5 more seasons

 

Am I disappointed that we didn't get Stamkos, no I didn't expect him to sign here (I was hoping he'd sign with Toronto, but they don't need Stamkos, they have Auston Matthews)

 

BTW what happened to the other thread why did it get locked? man come the 2017 season Jets aren't going to be that special anymore, personally I hope the 17/18 season gets locked out, but that won't happen because these deals last at least 8 years

Scheifele isn't going anywhere and I don't think Trouba is either (barring a ridiculous offer sheet).

I would go after Helm and a good LHD in a trade...someone like Nurse or McDonagh.

Helm re-signed in DET.

I'd like to see us get a LHD, not sure who we might be in on.

Helm just re-sined 5 years @ 3.85 per. 

Too much for Helm IMO

Patrick wiercioch is a name to keep an eye on for the Jets. LHD

Jets are in the draft and develop program not in the spend money foolishly program maybe they sign a bit player but i don't see any top free agent coming here.

yeah they'll probably get some low player and end up molding that player into a decent enough player

I took him as a sleeper pick in a draft a few years ago. Needless to say, I was greatly disappointed.

Oilers reportedly offering lucic 42 million over 7 years.   Not a good week for Chiarelli. 

I would have wanted Lucic to sign with Vancouver for maximum irony I need to remember that it doesn't officially start til 11 am central time (the broadcasts start at ten)

Ladd got a seven year contract and i'm glad we are not part of that stupidity.

Ladd is apparently 7 years @ 5.5M per with Islanders.

In light of the unexpected opportunity to pick Laine and Ladd's age etc. the Jets did the right thing trading him ...

Bruins sign Backes. There's goes a big part of STL.

Backes is off to Boston  5 years @ 6M per.
