June 29, 20169 yr comment_204415 Probably a better all around receiver than McDuffie at this point but McDuffie likely gets a handful of plays based on pure game breaking talent.
June 29, 20169 yr comment_204424 rather be cautious with any one coming off a concussion. hope hes better soon.
June 29, 20169 yr comment_204429 Bombers have played three games, Dressler has played 5 minutes of those, he's the next Jesse Lumsden, get rid of the bum ...
June 29, 20169 yr comment_204430 I'm not surprised by this. Wouldn't be surprised to see him miss the next couple actually. Hopefully Mayo can step up and show something!!!
June 29, 20169 yr comment_204431 Was anyone fooled by O'Shea's pronouncements that Dressler "might" be ready for Calgary? Well, at least we no longer have to hold the Mayo.

June 29, 20169 yr comment_204453 Not surprised at all, Obviously a concussion so better to hold him out and see what Mr Mayo can do. Looked good in pre-season. Sheppard is on the PR i believe.
June 29, 20169 yr comment_204456 Thought Sheppard looked better than Mayo in preseason but I like both.
June 29, 20169 yr comment_204463 Sheppard had more drops i think, Mayo brings more speed in my opinion and was pretty sure handed also.
June 29, 20169 yr comment_204562 I sure hope Dressler gets better soon. We need him but in good shape.

June 30, 20169 yr comment_204626 If I am not mistaken, this is not Dressler's first bell-ringer and if so, they will need to be extra super careful with him. Don't be surprised if his stay on the IR is more than one game.

I don't believe Sheppard had a single drop in pre-season and he had some really nice catches in traffic were he had to fight for the ball. As somebody explained earlier, Mayo is closer to Dressler in skill-set and playing WR is probably the better sub. in this situation.

Don't be surprised if his stay on the IR is more than one game. I don't remember Dressler ever having a Concussion. I do remember a few times tweaking the hamstring. That's been a off and on thing, but he has always sort of played through it. Bottom line, dressler needs to smarten TFU and get out of bounds or something. Foolish to take unnecessary hits. I was mad at him watching the game and he doesn't even play for us anymore.

I'm going to assume he had headaches and/or dizziness during or after trying to physically exert himself and got shut down. I realize and understand that the football helmet far exceeds the hockey helmet, but then the degree of violence associated with the contact also is much greater. If he had been knocked senseless in hockey he would've been out for weeks, and it just seemed so fast for him to be back a couple of days later.

If Dressler had a serious concussion you wouldn't see hide nor hair of him at practice, as he would confine himself to a bed in a dark, quiet room with no oinky boinky.
July 1, 20169 yr comment_205128 Being the Co-Op poster boy is close to becoming the Winnipeg version of the Madden curse.
July 1, 20169 yr comment_205165 Bombers can't buy a break. Yeah, it's not his first and the bombers do need to be careful with him. Hopefully he's 100% soon, was looking forward to seeing him and Smith and what they could do together.
