Posted March 17, 20169 yr comment_189035 Do people really give 2 chits about March Madness in Canada?
March 17, 20169 yr comment_189039 Id imagine the numbers been growing in recent years with canadians doing better at the game. I did watch the end of the duke game and the UConn/Colorado game, the 2nd game was pretty good
March 17, 20169 yr comment_189041 March Madness is the only time I really follow any NCAA basketball but even then I don't follow closely until the sweet 16. The only real exceptions are when there's a Canadian connection.
March 17, 20169 yr comment_189046 I might be mistaken but it seems like Basketball is getting more and more popular in recent years, especially in Canada. I remember when basketball was all the rage when Jordan was running wild, there were tons of great movies coming out with basketball themes too. but now with guys like Lebron and more recently Stephen Curry, the raptors being competitive last few years, a bunch of canadians being drafted high last few years like Wiggins, the all star game in toronto, seems like interest is picking up pretty steady
March 18, 20169 yr comment_189072 It's so hard to tell if a team is that dominant or their opponent is that weak with these brackets. #1 vs #16 games are brutally lopsided. I watched the Kansas(1) vs Austin Peay(16) and currently watching North Carolina(1) vs Florida Gulf Coast University(16) and its just a beat down. truth be told Ive never even heard of Austin Peay and FGCU lol Edited March 18, 20169 yr by Taynted_Fayth

March 18, 20169 yr comment_189134 I couldnt figure out last night how Gonzaga is always seeded so low and pulling off upsets. do they only know how to turn it on in march? Edited March 18, 20169 yr by Taynted_Fayth
March 18, 20169 yr comment_189202 that Middle Tennessee upset over Michigan State is being seen as one of the biggest ever. Apparently many people had MSU at worst final 4, and a lot favored them to win it all
