Could his career be over?

I have a hard time seeing him coming back next season.  What more does he have to prove?  Why risk destroying your mind and body for one more season?  Tough way for a legendary career to end, for sure, but I really don't think he'll be back.

He can come off the 9 game IR at some point if he'd ready so we may see him again. I think he should retire after the season.

Shoulda retired when Trestman left. Had nothing to prove and instead came back for a decidedly poor year.

Yeah, I think he came back for the stats.... That seldom works. Also, he didn't provide a lot of leadership from the qb position for a guy with 20 years experience which was a disappointment.

I really hope he walks away.  He has nothing more to prove.  

 

Keep your head on, retire, do what is best for your family and your health.

Montreal has looked better without AC than they did with him.  I'd guess we have already seen his last game.

Hes clearly finished, but I wouldn't rule him out of making a late season or ESF appearance.

I wonder if Montreal will bring back McPherson.....

They cut Porter at the start of the season.  Maybe they bring him back?

I hate to sound callous but that's what happens when an older player doesn't leave the game when he should on his own terms. Now things other things are affecting his ability to play the game & will ultimately push him off the field. Ben Cahoon walked away on top. AC could have done so too after his last Grey Cup victory. This is a story that happens far too often in pro sports.

He pockets an extra half a million ... Why not over stay your time
