If they have decided to move away from Pavs after his contract then it makes sense to try and move him now. If they can't, they can't. But the savings is significant if they can. 

I'm ready to see what Postma can do.

That might be true but he isn't the problem tonight.

Besides Armia, he is the best Jet on the ice through two periods.

Pav was ok again. 1 really good save but was out of position badly on it. Hurricane player gets it off the ice and it's in. What can you say. Only show up for 1 period and this happens. 8 shots through 2 periods says it all 

There is no urgency in the Jets game doesn't look like a team that is fighting to make the playoffs more of a team that is resigned to the fact that they are all ready  out of it.

Gooood. Goooooooooood.  Now if only those idiots in Columbus would go on a run. 

It's painful to watch but it is really better for the team to finish in the bottom 3 luck of the draw may give us a player that will have a direct impact on this franchise going forward.

Remember everyone that a bottom 3 finish does not guarantee a top 3 pick it;'s the luck of the lottery draw that will determine draft order

If you finish last the worst you can pick is 4th. 2nd last = 5th. 3rd last = 6th. 

Oh. BTW... if anyone still feels this team doesn't need to make some changes.... they are tied for 28th overall in the league and look like they could care less. Trading from a position of strength like RHD... Trouba or Myers to upgrade a position of weakness like LHD would be a good idea. That's a start. 

There is 1 D man on the Jets who is guaranteed to be back next year and that's the #1 RHD who just signed for 5 more years

Yeah but make changes that improve the team in the off season. Not right now. 

Well yeah. Off season for sure. A trouba or Myers trade wouldn't happen now. 

Anyone hear Maurice after the game?  Didn't say much but what he did says it all. Change is needed badly.  He was asked about what message did he give to the team between the 2nd and 3rd intermission. He said the same message he gave to start the game. That says the team really isn't listening. It's almost as if they are tuning him out. That would be the second coach this team has tuned out. Players need to go. 

Off season. In my opinion. You keep Wheeler. You obviously keep Buff. Scheif ehlers armia one not both of trouba or Myers and the rest... well... it's time to look at moving some guys out. 

People can talk about bringing in 2  much youth to the team but youth brings hope. It brings optimism. You stick with the same group tho and what's it say really. It's rewarding failure

I'm okay with keeping Trouba and Myers if Trouba is staying on the left side. Pairing 2 good RHDs with anchors is counterproductive.

Ladd to Florida for Matheson and a 1st would be a sweet deal.
