Riders fans dumping on us. Saying we're only going to be in the battle for third and we lack depth or that its Taman redeux. I say to them, up yours. Hope those tools enjoy last place.

They were expecting big splashes and big names today but now they have to preach "patience" and the "intelligence" of signing lots of lesser-lights with barely recognizeable names and hope they pay off.

Great athlete...multi-purpose guy. Can play a shut down role on D and can return kicks. Underrated because of his size...plays bigger than he is.

Takes selfish penalties  .. gets abused by bigger more physical receivers and is largely overrated by Bomber fans in general.  He's simply a faster / more ellusive version of Robert Bean .. a guy that relies on his athleticism to make plays but is far from the most sound guy in coverage.

Demond? very good athlete. Decent HB, not great but not awful. Good guy. Probably one of the best athletes on this team and now yours by far. Guy is a freak for sure. Seems to be lacking discipline at times and gonna say it, lacks, not sure what the word is, If this was hockey, i'd say he doesn't have a high hockey IQ.

Capiccotti and Lawrence are "barely recognizable names"? I know our team isn't perfect or anything yet, but come on. You would be ecstatic if those two ended up in Hamilton.

Really not sure what there is to argue. Saskatchewan got big names, Winnipeg got big names. Both have immensely improve over the last two days.

Demond?

Very good athlete with a lot of speed who can deliver a blow.  His problem is/was adapting to the new pass coverage rules..... under the ole rules,  Washington depended on a certain amount of press cover, with a lot of hand cheking - the officials zeroed in on him, early last year.....and he got nailed for a ton of PI, all through the season....

I was waiting for Demond to step up last year and have a break-through year but it never happened.  Oh well.  Onward and upward.

Washington as a DB: a somewhat improved version of Brandon Stewart. Fantastic foot speed and like DoD says, he can bring the lumber.

Washington on special teams:  very high risk / high reward returner. Loads of big-play capability but he does not take care of the ball.  Seems like he'd get trotted out every so often when we got frustrated with our primary returner or when we needed a spark, and he would be shelved quickly afterwards.

He got trucked by Nik Lewis last year, which is why people say that he's not physical enough. It was one freak play, so whatever.

You guys released a ton of players so it might be a bit much to say the six(?) players you signed means you have "immensely" improved.

Winnipeg improved a bit but they, too, have plenty of holes to fill.

Both teams signed some big names. It remains to be seen if there is actually improvement on the field.

We just got Capiccioti, Lawrence, Chambers, Jones, Foster, as well as several other decent signings and you think we haven't gotten better? Ok.

Not trying to brag, but it isn't true.

Dressler, Smith, Messam and Chick are better then the guys you replaced them with.

You replaced all star level talent for above average depth.

Capicotti is the only big name. Lawrence is not even a starter...hardly a huge name. Good utility guy on offense.

Maybe Carlos Anderson gets another shot. If we're going to have a backup American running back he's going to have to be versatile.

Really liked this guy. So disappointing when he blew out his knee.

Neil McKinley made one bad play that resulted in a long touchdown run and was declared the worst professional athlete of all time.

How dare you undermine the social media age's sports fan's right, nay duty, to wildly overreact to literally everything.

Not sorry to see Moore or Washington go. Disappointed we didn't get a big receiver or two. Stafford would have been nice, as would Grant. A stud MLB to replace Hurl would have been great. O-Line help would have been awesome.
