January 19, 20169 yr Author comment_179107 Im going with Dressler only because he's a proven commodity and at 30, should still have a few years at a high level. I wouldnt lock him up long term but i think he could be of real value for the next few years
January 19, 20169 yr comment_179123 Apart from doing it for a QB not sure I would do this for a singular player. By all accounts Picard and Moore were part of a failed attempt at being difference makers. We have been fed the need for patience, personally I am still trying to digest that meal.
January 19, 20169 yr comment_179124 ....I'm going with Dressler because he is a known commodity and will most likely finish his career here......Carter would be nice but very expensive and who's to say he doesn't jump back to the NFL first chance he gets.... 'other' would be Laurent...he's a real difference maker and I would be more than happy to land him or Capicciotti Â
January 19, 20169 yr comment_179131 I would say Carter but he is a flight risk to try the NFL again. Â Dressler would be good to have but Laurent would be great on our Dline. Â "Other" for me.
January 19, 20169 yr comment_179133 i WOULD SPEND ON LINEMEN Canadian linemen are better of course All else can be obtained bu our US Scouting especially backs & receivers Edited January 19, 20169 yr by BigBlue

January 20, 20169 yr comment_179154 I wouldn't even count Dressler in this as he will be decided before FA starts. Ted Laurant would be my #1 FA target.
January 20, 20169 yr Author comment_179155 The only reason why I'd consider Dressler, Â same as chick, Â is because whoever signs them will be tying up X amount on that player not much unlike FA. So some money that was deferred to FA is now already used. Unless you do what the riders did and release players within proximity of signing new ones in similar positions then it's a wash, or riders case you down grade to save some coin
January 20, 20169 yr comment_179156 Current FA would be Carter... but if I had to puck one only I would wait for FA and get big Ted
January 20, 20169 yr comment_179161 Carter's a no brainer against the other guys on the list. Tons more potential and upside.
January 20, 20169 yr comment_179178 I chose other... it's gotta be Ted Laurent... he's a game changer at DT and a ratio breaker... If we're only going by that list then definitely Carter...
January 20, 20169 yr comment_179188 Carter, no brainer, of the listed options. Laurent for sure as the other option.
January 20, 20169 yr Author comment_179198 I only listed those 3 as they seemed to be the most talked about, for sure I would/should have mentioned more people but thats a pretty long list, I figured with other, people would post who
January 20, 20169 yr comment_179232 Justin Capicciotti would be another nice Canadian player who's not often mentioned here. Edited January 20, 20169 yr by Blueandgold
January 20, 20169 yr comment_179235 It's weird how this whole page is (12 point disguised as)Â 14 point. And I had to 16 point this to point it out.
